lebron is always welcome as a knick. If he was able to come here he is not a finishing piece and thus I don't see the point.
Pehraps when he is a free agent and can play a role with Bronny it could be fun and have moments.
Until we win a chip its ok to have "moments" on the road to it.
But that's for another day.
Sweet baby Jesus, where does the river of sh@t end?
Exactly! Have some self respect! LeBron completely dissed us and has laughed about it ever since and now we want his sloppy seconds and his kid too? How is that supposed to be fun?! HELL NO!
I had no problem watching Tom Brady, Darth Vader of the "evil empire" lead my Bucs to a Championship. Would have no trouble seeing an aging LeBron, with still something left in the tank, as part of a contender. If the price for the GOAT is Julius Randle as the main player piece.
Hell Yes Im making that trade. He's one of the top 5 best PGs to ever play the game. He doesnt have to run the point anymore, but he sees the floor, and can run an offense in spots as good as anyone who has ever played the game.
No one expects him to be prime LeBron, I dont.but still dangerous. Dont want to see the FO bring James here without another star, if that can be done. The conditions have to be right
If the conditions are right, absolutely Im trading the player who was flipping off the fans last season, for the GOAT. You guys...
They should trade him to the warriors for their young pieces and picks. LA starts a rebuild, GS wins a few more chips….win win

LeBron has already said his dream is to play with Steph. This makes sense, unlike going to NY. LeBron doesn't want to have to carry a franchise anymore.

That’s gonna be one old frickin team

Which is still an allstar.
Im not sure anyone really thinks Lebron can carry a franchise anymore.
A glorified Randle on a good team is a better team with him.
But your the funny man, right?
Good point, why not have 2 Julius Randles one at each forward position. Then the 5 game losing streak can get extended while Cam collects dust on the bench
The guy averages 28pts a game this season in 28 games played. Did you not understand what your wrote? Back handing insult to Randle, who very well will be an Allstar selection season after your short sighed campaign to dump him, really demonstrates your lack of anything other than daft one liners trying to hang.
Do you have many friends?
TripleThreat might have a heart attack
I think it is a really funny statement to say "Lebron does not want to carry a team anymore"...
Lebron has never carried a franchise... He could not win without another Alpha on his teams in the past.
- Cleveland 1st go around: Failed to carry the team to championship
- Miami - Had Wade and Bosh
- Cleveland 2nd time around: he joined Kyrie and Love
- Lakers - I'll call this one a wash as the team did not have AD when he joined, but it is not like Lebron could win without AD.
So not really sure about "carrying" a team... He has never succeeded when he has had to "carry" a team (Cleveland 1st time around and Lakers without AD)...
If by Carry a team you mean collude with other stars outside of the basketball court to guarantee himself a championship, then yes.. he has carried several teams...

I really dislike Lebron but even Jordan was surrounded by HOF players. Apart from the latest Detroit championship, it's always been at least a duo of stars to win the title.

And all those trips to finals were he carried them is ignored?
Love was traded after he got there.
Nobody wins without multiple allstars but Larry Browns Pistons.
He has evolved as a man and a player. Wilt chamberlin alone could not carry a team to chips. His winning was with other all stars.
No issues hating the man. But to not respect his on court play is missing something as a hoop fan.

You raise some good points here...
I was letting my bias as a hardcore Knick fan get the better of my judgement
He is in the conversation for greatest ever but still an enormous douche.
LeBron had to go to Miami to learn how to be a champion. Wade played the biggest part in mentoring him IMO. LeBron did learn. Was the leader in his return to Cleveland and LA.
Just put up back to back 40+ pt games. Not washed by any means.
