For a playoff team Im not relying on hartenstein fourmier or Toppin. Sims is a bit player who can do a 3-4 minute stint as filler Im guessing Q back to unit 2 but we need 2 more guys-- a wing who can score//defend and a 4-5 who can uprade toppin
Funny how before the season started we had the deepest bench in the league, now depleted?
EF. but he sucks in the nba
We already have that.
Should change your thread title to:
We need a coach who will play our wing defender, thats currently sitting on the bench.
or
We need a GM who's savy enough to flip Cam for a player that fits Thibs system (which is the key).
Currently we have a team built around Randle and Thibs.
But since Leon Rose did not provide thibs with thibs type players, our deep bench is now depleted? Interesting.......
For the Thibs lovers, I hope this works out. The worst thing that could happen, is getting all these Thibs players, then letting Thibs walk. or Create a solid team of players that fit along side Randle, then trade Randle.
Otherwise, just remove the non Thibs players and fill the gap with Thibs type players. Not BRIGGS players or blkexec players. We need Thibs type players only. Otherwise it's a waste of time watching these guys rot on the bench all season (ex: Cam).
Maybe we’ll draft a big. I’m not felling good about the trade market yet. Utah really screwed things up for everyone this year

Believe enough time has passed, and there is a large enough sample size, to say we do. Its a question of Leon listening to Perry. Like when he wanted Derozan. Did he have any issues with Pops? IDK.
Hmmm? I recall a guy named Cam on the team
Jae Crowder sounds about right

No need to upgrade Toppin because he’s fine for the 12-15 mpg behind Randle. I love deuce but I think the opening is replacing him with a bigger wing who can score, and you still have deuce when needed.

Svia? LOL.....since when did Cam become known as a "Wing Defender"? Perhaps he's sitting on the bench like he did for the most part in Atlanta as well.....because he's not been effective as a wing defender. Looking the part and performing the part are two separate things that some Knicks fans have trouble grasping. Just a guess but IMO it likely has to do with his defensive rotations.
Rumor is Knicks have interest in Gary trent jr via trade. I would love him in the second unit, but I question how interested he would be in that role considering he has a player option to enter free agency this summer.

I don’t trust 99% of “rumors” regarding the Knicks, they are just so tight lipped.
Kyle Kuzma has a player option and another guy who can possibly be had.

The Knicks are, but most of these rumors are coming from the other teams involved. A reporter catches wind in Toronto that the Knicks put in the phone call. Now this is commonplace of course. It’s constant so it doesn’t mean much. But while I don’t believe many have good sources within the Knicks, I expect to hear Knicks rumors from other team’s media and their sources.

But how long ago did this Knick inquiry take place? Do they still see a need for Trent? Also, it could just be Masai trying to drive up the market

Yes that is always happening too.
