Pacers are just one game better as of right now and Brunson 110% deserves to be an All-Star. So does Randle. Both have the stats and a winning record.

Yeah, restricted free agency is tough. Say a team likes Obi, sees his potential and overpays. That leaves the Knicks losing an asset for nothing. If they don't see him being a key part of the future, then it's better to try and get some value back now.

Yeah, but the risk in matching is that you're overpaying for a player you may not want. Also, Mavs fans where sure that they were going to get something back for JB and we didn't give them s@#t. I guess my main point is crap happens and it's best to eliminate as much uncertainty as possible.
