I just saw Jordan Poole's stats the last 3 games and wow, at least we are not in GS position. Poole only played 10mins in the lost to LA last night. This is why IQ playing like crap in the playoffs gives Knicks the leverage. Just look at what Poole is making. I'm sure GS rather have IQ at a cheaper salary than Poole. I rather have IQ back at a reasonable salary than to throw money at a Poole type player. Be careful what you ask for. Most knick fans wanted to sign Poole. I'm sure thats not the case anymore.
Jordan Poole signed a 4 year / $128,000,000 contract with the Golden State Warriors, including $123,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $32,000,000. In 2023-24, Poole will earn a base salary of $27,455,357, while carrying a cap hit of $28,705,357 and a dead cap value of $27,455,357.
If we can lock him under the 20mm per annum threshold it will be a good result
I'm fine resigning him. He'll figure it out. He's got multiple skills and gets better every year.
Unlike a few other yoots around here. (ahem)

exactly... the stuff he's improved on he's gonna KEEP improving on. Handle, footwork, post moves, turn arounds and of course defense. He's also a 2-way guy. IDK what his ceiling is for a m2m to defender where he's pretty average but his team defense is elite and the guy just helps you win every time he's out there
