I'll pass on that thanks.
Dolan is a douche businessman (but also maybe good at it IDK) and the stuff he is doing is kinda outrageous to me. The dumb lawyer stuff not really much to do with the Knicks.
at least he talks!!!!!! Dude really needs some serious PR work. The Facial Recognition stuff is expensive stuff and could be good to quell a terror event. NYC is the epicenter of many things including the "Unthinkable" for evil intent. Most certainly bad look given the rejection of a lawyer for a firm sueing him.
Its a dick move, but in a way funny as hell. What good is having toys if you don't use it? It was a rockettes show, not denying a child organ transplant.
NOt a Dolan fan, but at the same time this guy is portrayed as the worst human on earth. Perhaps his philanthropic side need be demonstrated.
Jesus he’s hard to listen to.
After he said “right” dozens of times I had to stop watching.
You know… right? People who say right after every sentence, right?
That shit’s annoying, right?

I actually agree with Dolan on this one. Open court case, lawyers can gather evidence just by being there. Kind of surprised this isn't already a built in thing with being a conflict of interest being in a venue you would be suing.

True, but someone brought up a good point about how this data is being mined. Is he sure all the lawyers targeted are working on suits against MSG? Are they scraping images off of Websites? What if that information is outdated? It seems simple at first, but this issue gets messier the more you think about. Also, why can't James hire a good PR team. Or does he hire them only to ignore their directives? That TV appearance was a trainwreck. Will say Rosanna Scotto is keeping it kinda tight for a 60 yo.

From what I understand it was any lawyer that worked at a firm that had pending litigation with any of the venues (keep in mind it is the venues, not Dolan himself). I really see nothing wrong with it. Screams to me it could be a way to get information in a shady way or just catching something by being there. Sorry but litigation is no joke and any info/exposure to prying eyes has the potential to be harmful.

Yeah what’s the big deal? Rich guy with a ton of assets involved in on going litigation with an army of scam artist plaintiffs and lawyers is trying to protect himself?

If you don’t want to be data mined put the phone down. Btw the NYPD already does facial scans of everybody at least a half dozen times before they even set foot in the Garden to watch a game
