Hopefully he can hit some shots cause he's been ass lately.

I respectfully disagree, but I’m happy he made the list. He has the most challenging job for most sophomores because he’s always guarding the top guard against every team we play. Yesterday he was guarding Lebron on some places in the 4th. You have to be in elite shape to play 1 on 1 defense and play it hard like he does, yet have enough legs for your offense. This is why 2 way players is an elite badge of honor, but it’s not easy. He will have to find that balance. Take a little off the defense and slow down / relax on offense and play your game.
I always knew Grimes could both play lock down D and hit the 3 etc.
But what I didn't know about him, was how quick/fast/athletic he was.
Because man oh man he's been HIGH FLYING as of late and slamming the 🏀 down with AUTHORITY.
Kid is a keeper for sure and just another homegrown Knicks talent that's becoming extremely fun to watch.

any why he might have been a deal killer for Donovan.... I wonder if our FO knew exactly what they had. Based on how they pushed him to start with no camp and practice its pretty clear they were super high on him from the get go

c'mon man, you know FO and coaches take their cues from us! They were clueless. Old set in his ways Thibs gets all his new schematics from us.
But.......Yes I think that Grimes was set to start and seemingly did not have to beat out EF. It was ok that his injury might have delayed that and EF poor start validated the decision in the regular season.
Same for Reddish's audition.
LIke most seasons trade deadline will come and go and most hype won't be fulfilled. Im not predicting anything nor do I think there is a move to make that makes us true contenders. The Tweets and Blogs are total crap these days offering little that makes sense.

Is that Beasley I see with an even worse score than Grayson Allen. 🤮
Oh yeah, the Rising Stars draft starts at 3 p.m.

lol yeah man I'm there. Im a huge buyer
Man... I went from being happy that Grimes was recognized to being worried. Whatever you do Grimes, make sure it's the opposite of what coach says.

I'm sorry Quentin Grimes.
I apologize for EVER wanting Sharife Cooper over you on draft night (while throwing a UK temper tantrum when we kept passing on him).
This kid Grimes is a DEFENSIVE NIGHTMARE with a beautiful form on his shot and something he's shown me this year? That I was clueless about? Is his high flying athleticism along with a blazing fast, 1st step; I never knew he had these qualities/abilities within his repertoire.
