Both are turning into good well rounded players that can do a lot of things in the NBA. That's nice. What's GREAT is both are showing a couple elite attributes that COULD be the difference between being good roster players vs. high end starters on a deep playoff team (assuming here the goal is to build a contender)
IQ: top shelf elite level TEAM defense. I would call his m2m OK. Lots of effort with mixed results. But his team defense is literally among the league's best an it shows. It shows in analytics, box scores, +/-, the eye test, the twitter recaps... all of it. IQ has turned himself into flat out weapon. Thibs throws this kid in there and the whole defense plays better. Its wild.
Then of course the rest of this game is rounding out nicely. What you love is the diversity in his game and his ability to fill out any category on the sheet. Doesnt matter if he starts or is the 6th man. What a keeper
Grimes: Its the first step. Its explosive. He's got the ability to instead of take that jumper, put the ball on the floor and fly to the rim. This is a guy with an explosive first step and a very mature drive and dish game. The no look to Hart was slick but we have seen many nice drive and dish plays to bigs or wings for open 3s. We already know he's a plus defender, maybe even a lock down guy. Surely very good, and while's he's been cold of late we all expect the shot to be good. To me this is the SG of the future, and its looking brighter all the time
Well, its why Grimes gets to start. He has not shot well but coach likes him and he is being patient.
IQ, His defense is keeping him in the league and relevant. The shooting is good and playmaking improving.
RJ: Not a damn thing wrong if a player is not cutting in on a certain night. Can't say this was a bell weather moment for him regarding him and Thibs.
Seems Thibs has been hell bent on him playing thru his issues and inconsistencies to get to the other side. Same as he is doing with Deuce and Grimes.
Did this change last night?
Tune in and we find out!
Its safe to say he has not made remarkable progress given the hopes given his strong finish to last season.

Embrace the pace. Arriba, Arriba! Ándale, Ándale!!!
I love the development of Grimes and IQ. They are homegrown, ideal role players for this team. I’ll upgrade the starting lineup as opportunity presents itself but I do not want to trade either of these guys.

Might be saying it about his love making also?

My 10 year old really likes watching the games. He askes me questions about the rules and really likes watching. Forget which game but Q hit a bunch of big shots late. First time I heard him in a post game and OMG, I was like no more aderall bro. My son was dying. Dad why does he talk so fast? What did he just say? Is he from America?
Phucking love Q... really hope he and IQ are long lasting
