Knicks · Ball Movement: First half of Season vs. Second half (page 1)

The best part of seeing the first few games of preseason, with Brunson in the lineup. Was the great ball movement. You could tell an effort was being made to share the rock, and it paid off. Once the season started however, there was less ball movement, a lot less. We have lots of ISO from the same players.

Hartenstein's recent improvement has helped in that dept, but not enough. I believe its partly why Obi is struggling. Obi plays better when the ball is really moving. The way we see teams beat us too often.

I hope there is more of an emphasis on ball movement in the second half of the season. Believe it would help us punch above our weight in the playoffs.

Couldn't agree more.

This is key if we want to be an above average team

We need to start pushing the ball, especially in the 2nd half of a game on opponents that play their players above 36 minutes each game .. like opponents does to us

The ball movement was pretty good in the first half. You could tell that an effort was being made. Not so much in the second half.

Even though there were too many missed shots vs Magic they're doing a better job of finding the open man.
