Not sure the Nuggets would, but Obi Topping and a pick for Hyland & Nnaji? Hyland is out of the rotation and Nnaji doesn't get much burn and is needed to match salaries. Nuggets' backup PF is a washed-up Jeff Green. I'd prefer Cancar over Nnaji but matching salaries with the Nuggets is tough, they signed their roster to smart deals. Thoughts?

Whos minutes does Bones take?
What are his issues with Malone? If its defense, he'll be in the Thibean dog house similar.
IM not saying no, but just need to understand the benefits.

Why would the Knicks consider this? I dont see it
Why are you throwing in a pick? Hyland is Great Value Quickley West. I do like Bruce Brown though

I missed the pick. I dont even do the deal without the pick.
NYStateOfMind is trying to Danny Ainge himself
If Cam is nailed to the bench...Bones would be sitting in the MSG skybox...Thibs is not playing him.....Nnaji may be different
Didn't say a 1st, a 2nd pick. Do you think the Knicks are the only team that sees Hyland as an IQ West? If you want to beat the competition, that takes a pick these days.
Who would complain about having 2 Quickleys on the team? Obi isn't a Thibs guy it seems. Who's minutes would Hyland take, umm Obi's. Their coach seems to want more size at the PF and thinks Hyland's scoring prowess isn't needed from his bench. Makes no sense, but that is their view. I guess once they got Jamal back, Hyland's value dropped and they seem to prefer Brown's length as a backup.

Hyland is a SG who plays zero D?
I don't know how he would take Obi's minutes when they don't play the same position
Actually, he is a PG. In the same way you can sub Obi for Sims, no reason you can't sub one position's minutes for another, it is all about chemistry. For example, since they DNP'd Hyland a PG, his position has been mostly replaced by Brown, who is officially a SF under the ESPN trade machine, not even a SG like you assumed for Hyland. I think some positions and players are fluid, could be either or multiple positions. Also, not everyone needs to be a defensive sparkplug, some can be offensive ones. He is young and there are worse defenders, just maybe he improves if taught in the right environment.

No that's not how any of this works.
Hyland would take away minutes from IQ, Deuce and backcourt rotation guys. And if he is a PG, he would only get scrap minutes after Brunson played, but that's not the case.
Minutes are not fluid between someone like Hyland and Obi, that's just not reality.
FO would not trade for a guy like that anyway so it's a moot point.
