Its possible he opts in and the decision gets pushed out. Aller has a sharp pencil and it laid out that waiting might yield better contract.
Many scenarios to ponder we don't know about. To make assumptions might be a bit prelature.

What do you think his leverage is besides going to one of a couple really bad teams that would have cap space?

Genrically teams can open up cap space via trade so its a matter of the Wiz losing him for nothing if he opts out or walks in another season IF THEY WANTED HIM BACK. He seems to be getting on very well with them and with a center like Gaffords. This is where Lakers trade AD and replace him with KP and win a chip with Lebron and make us all look stupid? LOL.

Since the trade, Portland dropped out of the 10th slot and have not made it back to the play in.

I suspect that may have been their goal

Are we even talking about the same player 😂😅

Make that 12-3 previous 15 games for New York (ever since Josh Hart) @ .800%

I believe in coincidences but Portland falling into a lottery tank team (immediately after losing Josh Hart) @ 4-11 previous 15 and New York becoming the NBA's hottest/most dominant team (ever since stealing JOSH HART) throughout previous 15 games?

It's no coincidence.

Josh Hart (ladies and gentlemen) is not only an X-Factor DIFFERENCE MAKER but he's the type of CLOSER Coach Thibs has been waiting for ever since his arrival 3 years ago.

New York still has another 6 1st Round Picks throughout the next 3 years.

And what "lottery ticket" are we referring to here?

Knicks pick = Portland currently @ 23rd overall.

Dallas pick = New York currently @ 16th overall.

Washington pick = New York currently @ 9th overall but they're currently in the Playoffs which means it could convey.

So If Portland is looking @ a "lottery ticket" from NY etc

That must mean NY is currently looking @ not only 1 but 2 lottery tickets from DAL/WAS.

The real concern is the Knicks overpay like crazy to keep Hart next summer after he opts out. We made a mistake giving rose a 3 year deal 2 years ago because he had a nice 2 months for us

Believe there were other factors in Rose paying. You are making it seem as though both Hart and Rose were unknowns prior to their "two months" of good play. Hart has always been known as a high energy defensive player. Which with Thibs, is more valuable than a player like Rose. Hopefully there was an understanding in place and both sides are reasonable. Hart is exactly the type of glue player the Knicks need. As we have seen since his arrival.

All I’m saying is the Knicks can’t resign everyone. There’s 0.0 chance Hart opts in. He’s going to want to get paid. If it comes down to it who would you rather keep? IQ or Hart?

Another option is we lock up both IQ and Hart and use our picks to try to salary dump EF.

You're saying nothing but false information.

The Knicks wouldn't have traded for Josh Hart unless A.) They knew they could afford both him and IQ long term and B.) Josh Hart already made it known he's opting out of his Player Option in order to stay with NY Long Term.

NY can afford all of our current players.

Long Term.

No it’s called the salary cap. We also have to lock up Deuce next year too. Current nba cap is $134 million. We will opt of Rose which takes us down to $131 million and then we are down to $118 mil after Hart opts out. We are inevitably going to be forced to go significantly over the cap after next season though it will be a long term over the cap and not something we can just maneuver out of in 1 offseason. You can’t sign free agent superstars who want to come here unless we are under the cap.

At this point - post Josh Hart - I think it’s pretty clear the Knicks will operate as an over the cap team.

Plus, you know, we signed our superstar last offseason 😉

Coach Thibs was 100% correct and accurate for benching Cam Reddish.

NY with Cam:

NY without Cam:

If you were ever one of the one's who (ever) criticized Coach Thibs for his benching of Cam Reddish?

You owe him a public apology.

Also, what was Portlands record the 10games leading up to the trade WITH Josh Hart?
In the future, what about those calling you out for your prognostications that did not come true? Will you ignore them but only call out the ones by others?
Will your videos be about preening about the good but ignoring what you missed?
Really your predictions are about "This is what's happening, and it will continue". What will you do for your audience when they don't win? Or injuries hit?
Taking time off will lose your audience.
Just some friendly advice.

If your quest is vindication and retribution for those that questioned your prognostications you'll not do well keeping a high Twitter following if you are just looking for people that agree with you only.
Calling out those that don't agree with you is not a product many will come to.

The Portland Trailblazers were 6-4 previous 10 games (before losing Josh Hart for Cam Reddish).

And then Cam Reddish happened 🤮 (4-11 ever since).

ummmm... to what end?

Fournier is only signed through 2023-2024. Knicks will not have cap space to sign Hart AND another non-exception with FA even if they dump Fournier's salary on someone.

Fact of the matter is if they sign Hart, they're done for FAs for the next two seasons. They ONLY time cap space comes available is depending on how much the cap goes up in the 2025-2016 and subsequent seasons.

Otherwise the Knicks path to changing the roster is trade', FA exceptions, and the draft for the life of Randle and Brunson's deals.

See above. It isn't an issue. Don't dream on superstar FA signings for the next two summers. It isn't happening any which way.

superstar path is trade, some time during the life of the Fournier contract.

Period.

A.) Tom Thibs didn't like Cam Reddish.
B.) Josh Heart is a Thibs esque Player.

Not only that but also has chemistry with Jalen Brunson dating back to their Villanova Championship days.

He's a scrappy Defender. He doesn't turn the ball over. Very high IQ and an extremely efficient Offensive player from the field and last but not least; has played multiple years @ SF (including this year ).
