Yoooooooo.
WHO ARE THESE NEW YORK KNICKERBOCKERS?!?
17 Point Blowout vs. the Brooklyn Nets?
+
21 Point Blowout @ the Atlanta Hawks?
=
Destroying Eastern Conference foes and on a nightly basis?!?
My underdog tonight was ISAIAH HARTENSTEIN. Not because of his 6 points but because his 11 Rebounds along with very strong Defense down low tonight.
And man. I can't get enough of Josh Hart his electric energy is down right contagious.
Guess what....we have a good team fellas.
Don't know the last time it was this easy to go into another decent teams home and dominate.
All around good team effort.
Think of the possibilities if Grimes and RJ get their three going
With MR back. With the second unit back to where it was last year. With Obi getting hot again.
We have a solid deep team. Enjoying the rise and good play last three.
Toppin had a big 11 pts in just 13 min
Knicks put this game away with offensive boards. Randle had 2 huge put backs in the third that silenced the run. Hartenstein also came up with some putbacks.
Knicks looked dialed in
Trae looked selfish with those 30’ bombs. If i were on the Hawks i would give him a massive wedgie

Getting his steady diet of 1 rebound per too

I know he can take over a game anytime, but he seems very unspectacular whenever I watch him these days.

Knicks would be 4th seed in west?

Vegas and the NBA has always stood for "Never Bet Away".
But not anymore (@ least not with our 2022-2023 Knicks it doesn't).
NY on the Road = 17-12 (.586%)
NY's Road Winning Percentage of .586% ranks 2nd best and only behind Boston's Road Record of 18-10 @ .642%.
This lets us know these NYK kids are fearless on the road and what's pretty cool is we're starting to protect home court @ MSG now too (4-1 previous 5 @ home in MSG).
#RoadWarriors.
What a satisfying win this must have been for Julius. That playoff series sent him into a long tail spin. It must have feel really good to turn the table on the Hawks. Thibs has got these guys peaking at the right time.

Mitch will come back and that will really help and we have been > .500 (barely) without him and that's great, but when he's back it doesnt change who we are.So now that we know the team, we know the rotation, we know the style of play, we know the sets, we know the end of game strategy so does the rest of the league and now have a nice stretch of games to really take a look at this group and if they can win games and continue to get better.
Thibs in the mental toughness old school trust your guys school of coaching. It works for him. Players play hard. We have seen young guys get better under him. We have seen vets get better under him.
I really do think (to echo coach speak) this remaining stretch and every game in it is going to be a test of how good this squad is. I love that we dont need to hit 3s to win, and when Thibs says "if we are around league average we are good" what he really means is if we are hitting that average you are phucked. We dont turn it over. We pound the glass. We defend. We take good shots. We got fresh legs
What will be learn if the Knicks win 13 important games and lose 10 important games?
show the box scores, analytics, highlights, crunch time possessions, +/- by group and who was available for those 13 wins and 10 losses and I'll give you some things we will learn
How about we just wait until all 23 are played and then analyze the trends in the big picture, rather than piece by piece?
Sure.... see you then

Brunson is 100% the better player right now. Pretty wild
Trae is more concerned with taking over a game than winning. Many plays on the defensive end he took 100% off
I think if McMillsn had his way he’d trade him and run w D.Murray who at least plays some form of defense.
Wish the KNicks had picked A. Griffin.
Fantastic game! Perfect way to build momentum going into ASB...two body slam wins, last night's against a playoff rival.
Loved that RJ didn't let his poor shooting derail the rest of his game...he was aggressive on both ends. Everyone contributed, even Obi. And it's clear we have a balanced, deep team getting pumped for the post-season. It's a good year to be a NYK fan.

I’d like to see Mitch ease back in a bit when he comes back but Jhart gives knicks a good rotation. Thibs can always go with a hot hand down the stretch with IQ, Grimes, RJ, and Jhart. He needs some practice time with team. Be curious how Thibs handles the rotation the rest of the way.
