I don't blame Julius Randle as a PF for having a Playoffs meltdown against Atlanta 2020-2021.
Who was his PG? Elf Payton before being benched heading into game 3 (due to 2 games of crap PG play)?
Jalen Brunson is going to unlock Julius Randle's Superstar potential but this time it'll happen during the PLAYOFFS.
I'm just so anxious to see Julius Randle have an opportunity to redeem himself come postseason play because I already know he'll absolutely flourish alongside of Jalen Brunson.
And it's already happening right now.
Jalen Brunson has been the truth. How Dallas let this guy go is beyond stupid? We thought we had bad GMs. Dallas’ blunders have been worse, and they will regret trading for Kyrie.

Just incredible. He’s a superstar and a closer. Even if the Knicks somehow landed another star, it’s hard to go against Brunson in the 4th quarter when you need a bucket.

It is and Im not really sure why. They dont go at him like they were (with some success) earlier in the year.Defense has been fantastic. Its almost a given these days the only defensive breakdowns we seem to have are 1) RJ doing something stupid or 2) Jules losing his man and #2 seems to be improving. I think getting Mitch back will really level up this thing
Is Hart the reason for Brunson's uptick on defense? Seems like Hart, IQ or Grimes will defend the most dynamic guards, which is fine with me. I rather use Brunson's energy on offense, because hes the offensive engine for this team and the closer. aka Mr. Clutch

No, but only because Hart hasnt been here long enough.
Man I so agree with the bold. I cringe when I see him taking charges anytime but last few minutes of a tight game. I know its hard to turn on and off but Brunson and the Knicks must understand his importance to the team is that side of the ball. He's a willing defender and sure, throw your body around in crunch time but easy up (just a bit) the other 3 quarters man. He wants to lead by example and I love it. Next step for him will be accepting that means more help from teammates so he's got more gas in the tank late.
Also why I want Hart in the SL with him and Grimes. I think Hart/Grimes will make it easier on Brunson/Randle as they are much more complimentary players, where as RJ needs to be the focus more to be effective (lets get him those shots off the bench)

Reminder that Phil was comfortable moving Porzingis and replacing with Lauri.
