there will be at least 4 all stars from this class. likely the top 2, and 2 others. maybe brandon miller.

You’re definitely right since 2 are a given. It’s just not the same as originally assumed when this class was talked about having 6-7 players who would have been drafted 1 overall in last years class.

I think it was always a fallacy to assume the top half of the lotto was going to get the equivalent of the #1 overall pick because it is a double draft....

the top of the draft is exciting... yes... but where I think the real value is in this draft is the first 10 picks of the second round. Players drafted their are should be able to play in the NBA, and you get the benefit of a potential rotation player on favorable contract terms. I think you see someone like Desmond Bane drafted around #40 this draft

It is not a double draft and never was close to becoming that. Not sure how that became such a thing. The 2023 draft was talked about years ago as a target because of the CBA opt out, but the nba and players association never got that off the ground. Outside of the top 2 guys, this draft was viewed as having major stars, but the Thompson twins haven’t developed their shooting, Nick smith, Whitmore and Whitehead all have injury concerns, and now Miller has his own red flags. That’s the entire group of potential stars that were talked about.

I watched most of that game last night---I said it in the draft thread early this year--hes pick #2 in this draft. Hes a version of KD---I dont see teams passing that for scoot. But this whole gig has to be quite a stain --if honestly involved should not play until cleared.

Can you imagine what our starting lineup would look like if replace the player who is/was( not sure) the most blocked in the NBA with a legit young KD lite at the SF? I know it's nearly impossible through the draft with how well we are playing. For that matter it's going to be impossible for the duration of this particular rebuild. We drafted starting C and SG. Signed starting PG and PF. Our SF at this point is the only ❓
Best we could hope for is for RJ to become that in a year, two or three. Possibly maybe. The other solution would be a vet. Someone with at least 5 years left of prime/ semiprime years

When I watch him play, he's the closest thing I've seen to KD. The shooting touch, the size, and the moves. He's legit. 41 points in 41 minutes played? Wow.

Due diligence is key.

everything Briggs says appears to be true, but the story is blowing up because Nate Oats had such a piss poor reaction to everything. He said something like 'he was in the wqrong place at the wrong time.'

motherfucker, Miller's fingerprints are on the murder weapon. STFU

A few things I picked up from reading a couple of articles. Miller and Miles went out to the club that night. Miller left because the line was too long, but his boys wanted to stay. So it's possible Miles left his gun in Miller's car to gain entrance in the club. Unfortunately, you don't need a concealed carry permit in Alabama. Miles texted Miller that he felt threatened and wanted his gun back and Miller drive back and gave him his firearm. Miles gave the gun to the other dude and who fired the weapon. Now, this definitely makes you question Miller's decision making and the company he keeps. But the legality is murky. Did Miller give Miles the gun knowing he was going to shoot homegirl? I don't know and I'm not sure I'd trust Alabama law enforcement enough to get to the bottom of this.

Ah, thanks for clearing this up. Yeah it speaks to his character for having friends like that but not sure it makes him an accessory.
