I’m surprised Keels wouldn’t get a couple minutes in a game like this.

Vs.
New Orleans = 30-30 (10-20 on the road).Don't let that 16-15 home record fool you (due to a slow start) because these Knicks are now 5-2 previous 7 games @ home (.714%)
I'm really looking forward to R.J. Barrett tonight. I think tonight he explodes for 30+.
Didn't get those 30+ points I was expecting but even better R.J. Barrett had himself a complete game and went off for 25 Points, 7 Assists (was feeding Mitch down low), 4 Rebounds and shot 8/13 (.615%) along with a +/- of +23.
R.J. keeps playing like this as our 3rd option alongside Jalen Brunson/Julius Randle and this Knicks team of 2023 becomes unstoppable (against anyone too).
Very impressed with Grimes D —- such quick feet and strength stayed with McCollum and Ingram in many different scenarios.
Ditto for J-Hart, I-Hart and IQ —— all superb defensively off bench.
I-Hart with 10 boards (only 19 mins) -again —— IQ just playing with such swag and J-Hart such a physical package with attacking mentality in 6’4” package.
All 4 mentioned great intangible players.
Have to give Thibs much credit for knowing who/what he wants - having conviction to stick with and now almost have full team of hard nosed, gritty Thibs clone’s running around.
Keep it up boys and very calming game from RJ tonight…did his thing and -Kaye’s in flow.

Keels was in Westchester and not available.
Great game by all. Let's keep this going. Haters now crickets.

Bless the Julius Randall psychiatrist/counselor/medication/and meditation treatment and his willingness to use it. He was in a bad place last year emotionally. He is different now I am sure he has benefited from professional help. A lesson for all people
If RJ only can become a reliable and consistent 3 pt shooter and defender.... I was checking the progress of OG and why does Toronto demand several first rounders for him ??? And M Bridges why would RJ and picks be the asking price ? I'd trade for Bridges but to be a rotation player with RJ, IQ, and Hart. Team should try to trade for Tari Eason give Houston a future unprotected and the Wizards pick with Obi . Tari can be our back up 4,3 who can guard 1-5
Great win! That's how you play when you're honoring the 1973 Champions! So cool to see the old timers and even recent guys like Spree, Camby Starks, LJ and Houston! But of course it's always about who wasn't there. Already seeing the media cry about how Dolan didn't invite Marv Albert and Oakley. Let it go already! Those two talked shit about this franchise and have sour grapes so fuck them! I wouldn't invite them either.
But back to the game, so cool to score 73 first half points. We were in the zone all game. Randle was the catalyst once again in the first quarter. Came out firing! Like I've been saying, like him or not you have to respect and acknowledge Randle. He's been one of the best players in the league, especially in the first quarter, and is having one of the best seasons and comeback stories in NY sports history. If Randle plays well in the playoffs, he's going to establish himself as a star in this league. I'm really rooting for him!
So happy to see RJ finally smile and having a big game! I admit I'm biased with RJ and have a soft spot with him. He's such a good kid and I want him to succeed. He played almost perfect in this game. He took good shots, made the open shots, found Robinson for a couple of dunks and played good defense. Brunson had a decent bounce back game. IQ doesn't get talked about much but he's such a good team player. This is the type of kid who deserves a hive or stans. He played the right way, does everything on both ends and is such a likeable guy too. Got to make him a long term Knick! He's going to challenge for 6th Man Awards.

Let’s hope there’s no haters here. Knicks for life.
Alpha, I was thinking the same thing. Randle is going to make his whisperer/psychiatrist a lot of money. We take the mental part of the body for granted. I was just as guilty as everybody during the thumbs down moment. So let this be a learning lesson for all that are not woke. Mental health is something serious and we all need a checkup just like physical health. Great point alph.

Man I’ve been charged up all weekend (I’m sure u guys already know).
But turning 50, on the day or weekend of the 50th championship celebration. Scoring 73, the year I was born and the day I was born. Then to watch the greats who are still with us and how the team responded in the second half was amazing. Scoring 73 at half????? Nobody predicted that. Wow
I worry about IQ because I want him to be a knick for ever. With Brunson here, I can’t see a path higher than 6 man. I don’t see him starting over brunson or as a SG. Maybe I’m wrong. The question is what does IQ want? If he wants to start as a PG, how do we hold onto him? There will be plenty of teams throwing money at him soon. The good and bad of being a good team from top to bottom.

For RJ, let's just aim for more consistent effort on defense, playmaking, and free throw shooting. 3pt shooting comes and goes regardless of player - defenders on the other team are doing their best to make sure all of your shots are as difficult as possible. So fine, sometimes the shots don't fall.
You just want to make sure your star players aren't merely going through the motions, that they're present in the moment and "play basketball the right way."
This was a game for him to come back to in terms of overall play.

Watched the game last night and loved the half time. Willis looked good but might not be well. Camby? WoW. spree be there all the time. He and dolan must have really had a meeting of the minds.
Marv Albert? Thought Breen should have been there but there was Marv's son Kenny who was. He did not mention his pops at all as the voice of that generation.
Marv leaving MSG was at awful but have to remember Marv was also getting into some weird kinky stuff and he got star power on a national scale post MSG. His head and salary demands might have also got too big too.
But here is Kenny doing the games and he does a good job. Still love Breen but Im good with how Kenny calls a game.
At this point Marv Albert might be in rough shape to attend and perhaps a loose cannon as well.
Good to see Amare. His divorce, love child affair, and domestic charge (aquitted) is all not a good look on him. Too bad Melo was not in the house.
Pels looked bad last night. McCallum trade and extension looked brilliant last year but not this.
KNicks??? Sweet game!!!!
RJ looked balanced and don't need a big game from him . Love the efficiency of his game and the playmaking last night.
Randle looks invincible playing with a crazy confidence. No more braids?
Clyde Hating moments: "Randle Razzle dazzle" he passed out but he was going there. "JHarts got a kink in his shot.....young players should not........" I forget the exact words. Josh hit the shot adn Clyde tilted.
I love clyde, but he has been full of himself this year more than others.
