Does the new CBA work in teams favor now that there is the possibility that they'll be asset locked if the go to far into the tax? Maybe a player like OG drops down a pick in value. Wishful thinking here, but I hope that's how it plays out.

Hmm not sure I really understand your question or scenario.
All I do know is that the next likely high level moves made by Knicks will be dependent on a player on another team to start an agenda to get out of town.

The repercussions for trading picks and going balls to the wall with cap management will be more severe with the new CBA. If a team knows that they'll be unable trade picks years out from now, will that cause the to be more frugal? I forget how many picks Masai reportedly wants for OG, but I'd be less inclined to give him that full package knowing the potential costs. But sure there be owners who say eff it, I want a title now.
