chandler should know. he was always hurt!!!
Phuch the Minutes Police!

But.....fatigue is a part of it. Just how much? Who knows!
Giannis is hurt.
Embiid was hurt.
Lillard was hurt.
Jimmy Butler was banged up. He is 34. Can't blame Thibs for all is years. One can try.
Kawahi was hurt.

In past year we have seen all kinds of super stars get injured. Durant came back and blew out his heel. Hate him all yoiu want, but he was trying for a three peat and it happend in the finals. Did he come back too soon also? Maybe. But he a player. Maybe be a whiney bitch by some, but he a player.

Maybe it’s not the minutes Thibs is playing his players. Maybe it has something to do with the players plying Thib’s minutes. I’ve come around a bit, but I think anyone not wanting to play for Thibby is probably insecure about their ability to retain their minutes in light of Austin Rivers and Evan Fournier. If you are more worried about building your brand than playing both sides of the ball, you are gonna earn bench minutes.

Abso-goddamn-lutely. Now let's ascribe those win totals to various Knick coaches.

Noh proposed a three-team deal that would move Randle to Miami along with three first-round picks and a second-rounder in exchange for Butler. New York would also send Bojan Bogdanovic back to the Detroit Pistons.

Empire sports does some really stupid writing. Its posted in the UK under Blogs, so Its not to be taken seriously.
I respect Jimmy Butler a lot. His intangibles are considerable and he'd be a great fit.....But
His game count for the last 4 years is declining. His offensive output is inconsistent for his salary and star status.
Randle offense is still very potent.
3 picks? We need some yoot or trade fodder to round out the roster. What does Jimmy add that we don't already have in place?
The intangibles of leadership and toughness is in place with a roster of high output warriors. Our NovaKnicks, iHart, and yes, even Randle all have great intensity and demanding accountability in the game.
His salary is huge.
At this point we'd be doing the Heat a favor by taking him. Not saying he is a negative contract, but its moving to that given its size.
Key to any franchise is cultivating young talent either by Free agency, Trade or via draft. That trade is a joke.
Also media of Knicks can get a star is old. Clickbait at best.
I love Donovan mitchell but why blow assets now that Brunson is on par or even better than him?
Giannis would be great, but at age 29-30 his contract becomes an issue as does the acquisition cost.
If its Randle, Mitch and two firsts Im down with that. Randle is an All NBA/all star talent. Not saying on par with Giannis, but im bringing in Mitch, and two firsts .
If Milwaukee has a better deal for their objectives, then go for it.
I don't want to end up extreme like PHX or BKN were the window is narrow. I'd rather be frustrated like the Celtic fans with a core and eventually punch thru.
Thats where Milwaukee was a few years ago, and Celts are trying again.
Chips are not easy and there are risks. Its what makes them fun.

Not for nothing but I've been taking Jalen's games in stride, like they are the usual thing he does and should be doing

Predictably, I expect perfection from him and when I see a turnover or a shot I would deem inefficient, I verbally abuse my television. I think the takeaway is that he is the kind of player you expect to make the right play every time. Like a Derek Jeter. I am sure DJ has a few errors on his resume, but I don't remember any of them. I only remember the clutch hits or him diving into the stands to make a play. I can see myself loving JB the way I love Jeter. All he needs to do is get us a ring to solidify his position in my heart.
