Knicks · Knick knacks... (page 159)

Good stuff from Begley. A name he mentioned, but hasnt come up much this year bc if injury is Bruce Brown. Bruce is a Thibs style guy who like Hart can do some secondary ball handling and rebounds well for his size. He is in many respects perfect wing depth.

Still the money mean you have to stack Mitch and Achiuwa and that doesnt really make sense as if it leaves us with no center depth.

Begley still seems to be concluding that Mitch stays here and is more than likely the last piece of the rotation.

Man, it took 3 months just to get to this point where the Knicks offense is pretty much one of the best in the league and they still have hiccups every so often. I can't imagine what it's going to be like in year 2 and beyond when the months and months of reps kicks in.

It's odd to hear Bagley mention interest in Jericho from Houston, felt kinda like planted information. Jericho matches the speed at which the Rockets like to play and would be a better fit than Steven Adams? Maybe long term at least. And he went to college in Texas?

If the Knicks think Mitch can be back for a run at the end of the year and you already have Huk on the roster too and want more cap space to, say, have TJ Warren on your roster, Jericho would be the one to move for some second rounders?

Thats exactly right - if the Knicks can find a team below the cap that can absorb his reasonable salary and throw us a 2nd rounder it will give us enough space under the second apron to sign Warren or Okeke. The balance of the roster then makes sense since you still have Mitch and Hukporti at the 5 and now have more wing depth.

Don't forget to vote. I went with Towns, Hart,OG,Mikal and JB, but I guess I could let it slide if you went RJ over Mikal.😏
