I’ve never quite seen a player like Brunson. I keep going back to Larry Bird as a comparison. He always came up big, often against the Knicks and always on the big stage.

Maybe Steve Nash, with just a bit less passing acumen?

Sixers, Wolves (L), Hawks, Nets, Kings, Grizz, Nuggets, Lakers (L), Rockets, Raptors.

A PG version of how Larry used to move. Looks slow but ALWAYS worked. Sneaky athletic. How about Andre Miller

Media hype "Knicks do enough whiles rivals did more".........
Really?
Knicks got KAT to open the season.
Did Mikal trade off season.
Implemented Josh as starting 2. Went from lost levels of play to some impressive none scoring stats.
We neck in neck with Boston. Nalod always tells you there will be a surprise team. Some years we were it. this year its Cleveland.
We took a long view on the bench. Mitch and Shamet need time. Payne was better than expected. We also got Wright who might help.
We are landlocked for now to add players. Can't sign those waived who made more than 12.5mil previously.
We might take Boston if they don't get it together. Can't say we stay this hot either. Shit happens in a season.
Nalod does not fully believe Mitch is Cleveland Kryptonite based on what happend two years ago. Thats too easy.

Baby steps

If OG cant make it back for Boston I think you may as well just shut it down before the break. THis Saturday's game feels huge, but probably no reason to rush and you can get a nice full 2 weeks+ to get back

Feels like feast or famine this season.

6. New York Knicks

2024-25 record: 35-18

Previous ranking: 6

Next games: vs. ATL (Feb. 12), vs. CHI (Feb. 20), @ CLE (Feb. 21), @ BOS (Feb. 23)

The past couple weeks were somewhat of a mixed bag for New York, which won seven of its past 10 games entering Tuesday night but were routed Saturday by defending champion Boston in a contest that some had deemed a measuring stick. Jalen Brunson called the 27-point loss "unacceptable," saying it showed New York isn't where it wants to be yet. New York is still waiting for Mitchell Robinson to make his season debut, with coach Tom Thibodeau saying Monday that he and OG Anunoby (toe) are both "not quite ready." -- Chris Herring

Mitch is all that’s left to crack that top 4 or 5 team bubble.

The story is even better. They asked him after the game about his first game winning shot and supposedly that video above is it from his sophomore year in high school. He literally hit from the exact same spot last night. Its amazing how players have confidence going to certain spots on the court.
