Demon
hmmm, on second glance, maybe OG's mom was the stat keeper on this one
Yes, its what we saw, it was on Mikal's face at the end of last season, and you could not have him leave after teh haul it took to get him. The games were too much of a struggle.
Now, im not saying we go all the way, or Brown is the perfect coach. But you have to try to build on what Thibs did and "run its course" was a good line to describe.
Yes the bench was in need of improvement.
But trust me there will be nights whent that shot does not goin in! We won't win them all.
For me, OG continues to earn his contract

The absolute elite role player. We are really seeing what we envisioned with OG and Mikal

Yep, perfect compliments to KAT and Brunson.
While Brunson being a knick changed everything, one has to consider OG's effect as well. That 14-2 run in his first 16 games before Jules got hurt was intense. Our Demon as a glue guy doing so many things that warranted that contract. Not a star but a player you win with.
The price was high for him but we got the best player in the trade! Stat sheets does not tell his full story.

Is that a chicken? That’s a terrible chicken.

Penguin
Crow? I not my dish. I did not hate the trade despite my love for RJ as he was family, IQ not so much and lessor with his salary demand that he got from Raptors.
I understood it and Our Demon is for sure more than what was advertised. While Jules, Kat and jalen got headlines our demon is sneaky in robbing opponents of their souls. He is becoming 7/8ths Kawahi wihout the uncle.

Ball dominance skews stats against off ball players. I think OG and Mikal’s talents are better suited to this offensive model. I’d take three more of them in varying sizes and not think twice about not having a “star”. I might be crazy but something like Deuce/Bridgez/OG/Eason/JJJ would be high on my list.
