Hard to knock this front office tbh and I kind of like how the front office travels around with the team a bunch during season (they are engaged regardless of Leon not talking to the media and what would that get him anyway).

We owe everything to this dude. And to JB for reactivating him.
Hard for me to fully trust Jules - keep waiting for the blowup or dumb play but kid is one physical offensive player.
Outside of Embid, Freak and maybe Lebron what others are more physical offensively over Julius? I think his physicality is most important to the squad.

You all know I feel a certain way about Grimes.
This gave me chills.
I'm posting this in the game thread. And in the Quentin Grimes thread.
This deserves to be immortalized here.
Martin, maybe this thread can be pinned so we can post stuff like this, favorite Knick plays, anything someone wants look fondly back on and share?

LIstening to knicks film school pod this morning and they had some others running the convo, not call ins, but this one dude starts saying thibs should be doing a better job. While admitting to injuries and Spo is the best in the League, he goes off about why Grimes was not playing the the first few games and it was on thibs. Wasn’t his shoulder bothering him?

Yeah, Grimes was/is coming back from a significant shoulder contusion.
He’s not wrong that Grimes could have helped… but he’s wrong to think that Grimes was available, IMO.

I have a general opinion that when posters automatically go straight to "Coach should have coached better" without paying much attention to the context of the game or the season or the team in general, they don't have much insight at all and use the whole Coach Did Bad thing as a crutch.
Thibs on the hot seat. Thibs can't adjust. Thibs doesn't develop or play young players. Thibs can only coach defense. Thibs doesn't make any adjustments that hindsight shows us is clear as day!
