Nerlens highlights? You had to dive deep into YouTube

Hey! When he wasn’t dropping passes he played great for us!

But yeah the YouTube search engine was smoking.

Hey - Nerlens is out there. 29 years old, could give center depth plus play some of those back up PF minutes that some are so hot for. What's the problem with the guy - I mean other than the hands?

Hands like feet, and injury prone.

But man, he could block a shot.

Barnes overrated. They know (stole) all our plays and still couldn't stop Jules

Let's get it all out there! Raps just asking for their corporate espionage to be exposed. Also, I haven't heard from DJ lately. What is DJ up to? Can't be watching Raptors games. Probably looking for his new bandwagon to jump on.

https://theathletic.com/5131200/2023/12/...

The Toronto Raptors pushed back Monday night against the New York Knicks in their dispute over accusations of stolen video files, saying that the Knicks wrongly want the case in federal court rather than NBA arbitration to embarrass the rival team.

In its latest court filing with the U.S. Southern District of New York, the Raptors’ parent company, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, said the Knicks’ lawsuit filed in August was designed to maintain publicity for their allegations of the theft of proprietary team information. MLSE for the first time raised the possibility of a countersuit, and said that it was more appropriate for NBA commissioner Adam Silver to resolve the case.

Interesting that after seeming ready to blossom Obi has gone in the tank last few games and his minutes down along with production.

I've been following. I think his role is going to fluctuate throughout but he'll wind up playing somewhere in the mid 20s everynight. They are an interesting team. Despite some impressive showings and a pretty good record, they are still searching for their identity IMO. I thought going in Obi would take away a good bit of Turner's screening duties and that would give Obi a huge opportunity on offense. That hasn't happened. Turner has been very good on offense and Obi is probably a better shooter/connector and a worse screener even if he is a better shooter and finisher. Using Turner as the screener more often makes sense rn. Obi isn't stuck in the corner but he is not a hub either.

Tunner PnR and Buddy ghost screening for Hali are the only scripted actions I see that the Pacers spam. Everything else seems random and equal opportunity. Interestingly, I think the team doesn't get enough stops to fast break near as much as Obi or they would like. They run after every make but that is not really fast-breaking. After the first two weeks or so Obi has been able to score well in this environment but I'm not seeing consistent big-game potential right now. His usage is still pretty low he's just got super efficient. If he wants to be a BIG scorer and not just a good scorer he is going to have to look for his offense more. He hands out grenades when he should be looking to shoot too often. NaSmith is also the team's best defender. With the Pacer's defense being so shoddy he needs mins. If Obi shows more big game potentially I think he could force Rick to play them together more. He needs to take another step to become established nightly.

Well why the **** don't we call that play more often?
