Wait Martin hold up remember in my Eastern Conference Standings Thread the gentleman who's introduced me to his super smart computers and AI simulators who've been telling me that it can't be done and how NY won't pass CLEVELAND?

No because no one has.

The only question here is if you're intentionally lying or genuinely don't understand what you're reading.

Im going to give you credit and speculate the latter.

I think Thibs was genuinely just mad about the game.

Wasn't a happy camper in the post-game media session.

Holy crap - Jimmy Butler is owed 45m, 48m, and 52m (player option) next 3 seasons.

Not going to lie, there was a piece of me thinking last night he could be a viable option for trade if Miami was ready to restructure and we really wanted to make that push to contender. Thibs guy, incredible defender, will get his points (although he's not going to stretch the floor).

Just can't get over 52m at age 36...man has a great agent!

Right. And Butler has been very candid about needing to manage one of his knees. Scary thought over the next years, especially when you need to carry fat Lowrey on your back so much.

Yeah I brought that up earlier too. A lot of these guys are being paid 50m+ while doing fuck all and its going to really come back to bite them.

I hear you guys but aging Jimmy perfect guy with Jalen/Jules where he can pick his spots and defer otherwise.

Plus fits overall team mentality and mutual respect with Jimmy/Thibs.

Anyone up for RJ/Fournier for 3 years of Jimmy - even at the $52M in last year?

Thing is adding a big 3rd piece —- not everyone is going to fit without impacting Jules/Jalen and I think Jimmy absolutely would. He is old now though so tough contract.

Thibs took the charge, and refs didn’t blow the whistle

Hard to believe how last years Eastern Conference Finals Heat-team (under Erik Spoelstra) have now (only) gone...

🔹5-9 (previous 14) @ .357%.
🔹1-6 (previous 7) @ .142%).
🔹0-2 (2 game losing streak) @ .000%.

It's looking like Erik Spoelstra's Miami Heat are now struggling to win (throughout regular season pressure) and could completely fall out of the Play-In (current 7th seed) moving forward.

📣Tom Thibs or any other New York Knicks Head Coach would be getting absolutely destroyed (right now) for collapsing during the clutch (when it matters the most)🔥

But I guess all because of 2x (PRIMETIME) LeBron James led Superhero Teams it's free passes for everyone's most overrated Erik Spoelstra.

Every time I watch Hart play he just does the right basketball play. Small things that half the time won't amount to stats but help winning. I felt he would be a good fit but I never imagined him helping the team this much.

No way.
Our FO has had a tremendous record of signing guys to good value deals. I don't sign onto that smoking pile of turd of a contract.
