Can this year's Knicks team be the second coming of the 2004 Championships Piston team?
Really outstanding win. The Celtics are right there among the very best teams this season. Beating them twice in a week, arguably without our best player goes to show our quality depth.
And it vindicates RJ - it takes a lot of heart to take one for the team and sacrifice individual stats and minutes for the greater good. He’s currently our 3rd option - and these are the types of numbers he’s capable of in a more featured role.
Everything above could also be said about Quickley. He’s a monster now. He has a lot of moves now that he can use in critical situations to break down the defense.
The unsung play of the game is Mitch’s made free throw in the second OT. He did enough.
I wonder if Thibs regrets not having Mitch in the game when Brown scored the and-1 over Grimes. Grimes was caught between just stopping the 3 and gathering the loose ball. Two overtimes later and the Knicks dodged a bullet and instead get another important situational experience to review.
What a game!
Tired of Smart flopping all over the place. Glad Knicks got the W in view of that
If we hit our FT at a decent clip this game isn’t that close
They refuse to lose. Everyone is contributing

Yes he’s really come into his own. He’s a breakout player. Maybe developing into a star when you see the 2-way ability. This is as impressive a win as the Knicks have had in a long time.
We had 3 guys score 30 ish?
This is why Thibs has IQ finish games in the 4th, and rotate Hart, RJ, Grimes.

A crime really
Breen gotta get paid too!!!!
Does Breen do Knick games for ESPN? Might be an contract thing if not in playoffs?
Did Jax and JVG do a west coast game Friday night? Yesterday for ABC?
Personally I liked JJ Reddicks takes. Cool stuff about living with Josh Hart when he was with Pels.
RJEfferson, thats a different story.

I agree, as much as I would like to see him out there.
All that really matters is being Healthy for the playoffs.
It’s no problem! IQ can give the Knicks a solid 46 minutes with Deuce giving him enough of a breather for the rest.
You did call it. Only wrong about the minutes.

Goddamit... Malika's smile is enough to make me overlook it even when they scrapping on the Knicks. 😞

RIGHT!?!?!?!?
How the fuck does that happen?

I was not wrong, just wasn’t counting on 2OT!

With a dash of 1999 vibes of getting into finals as unwitting underdogs
