I’ve come across a few clips of Boston’s coach and I find him really thoughtful, perceptive and really engaging. So young too, 34.
Celtics are mid. Boston should probably blow it up and tank. Who is with me?
Had to steal this one in full from RealGM cause it’s so spot on IMHO
Randle being completely exhausted also helped this out

At the end of regulation time, who made the decision to let Randle operate from the top of the key after IQ, the most efficient player we had on the floor last night, meekly gave up the ball to him? After watching both players the entire game, how could Thibs think Randle was the best option on this night?
As IQ brought it up I was thinking that on this night, he had earned the right to have the ball in his hands the final 10 seconds. Couldn't believe when he handed it off to JR.
Quoted for Truth.

N) Only loss to BOS (1x) we were w/o both Josh Hart (1-0 vs. BOS) & Mitchell Robinson (1-0 vs. BOS).
Y) Beat them with Tatum/Brown (1x).
K) Beat them with Tatum/Smart (1x).
M) No Jalen Brunson?

🗽TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT WHERE IT'S IQ's TIME-2-SHINE ON ESPN @ BOSTON TONIGHT 🗽
IQ not only has an opportunity to solidify himself as an NBA True 6th Man of the Year Contender but also to show Coach Thibs he's both Closer + STARTER Quality.
This is what makes Thibs great. He's throwback and old-school. He makes his developing kids work hard for every opportunity he'll give them and once that opportunity comes? He's already made sure they're prepared for it.
And tonight?.
It's coach Thibs telling IQ here's your opportunity kid and I already know you're going to give it your all for your teammates.
Keep this game close 1st half.
Head into Halftime with Confidence knowing we're competing without Jalen Brunson.
And we'll punch Boston in the mouth (2nd half) and win this game.
Bang!
Bang!
BAAAANGGGG!!!!

And our Knicks up 15-12 right now because of it.
R.J. was an absolute DOG tonight and he's the one who set the table throughout the entire 1st Q too.
R.J. ⭐ Barrett (only 22 years old)?

Nothing was "embarrassing" about Julius Randle's performance last night.
You might look @ "7 Turnovers" and harp all over it without context such as being double teamed without his elite Starting PG while on the road @ Boston vs last years NBA Finals team & this years #2 team etc
And he drops 31 Points, 9 Rebounds, 4 Assists and 1 Steal off of 11/22 (.500%) + a momentum shifting/game changing buzzer beating 3 (after Miami's buzzer beater game winner).
With 46 minutes of GRIND.
And we're talking turnovers?
Cool. Nice to know.
C'mon, in the end Mazzulla gifted us this game by wasting away 10 seconds before calling a timeout on the last possession, and we pretend like we have just won the championship.

Fire Mazzulla threads to follow.

Randle called ball each time. He stopped calling ball in the second overtime. Boston has a great plan to shit him down - make him dribble with his back to the action.
