This sounds like off season banter, especially the way the team is playing right now, but this artilce if from a day ago,

Hard to argue with Frank, Knox some of the oters are before more time. I'd put Kenny "Sky" Walker at SF.

Walker wasn't a bust just wasn't really a SF and just not great. We missed out on Persons 1 pick ahead of us, who really would have fit this team well.
(From the article)
Frank Ntilikina
Kevin Knox
Paul Hogue
Jordan Hill
Tom Riker
G - Mardy Collins
G - Frank N.
SF - Renaldo Balkman
PF - Larry Demic / Mike Sweetney
C - Frederick Weis / Jerrod Mustaf

Balkman and Collins immediately DQed for being drafted 20 and 29.
There are NO busts in the 20s.
C; Michael Sweetney (9th overall).
PF: Jordan Hill (8th overall).
SF: Kevin Knox (9th overall).
SG: Iman Shumpert (17th overall).
PG: Frank Ntilikina (8th overall.Shump might not be labeled as an NBA bust but he was a big time disappointment (for me).
He never lived up to his NBA draft hype/buzz because he never developed a jump shot, he never learned how to create for others, he never improved his atrocious Offensive skill set and now he's only 31-32 and already out of the league (because of it).
Off the top of my head:
C Jordan Hill
PF Mike Sweetney
SF Kevin Knox
SG Frank Ntilikina
PG Jerian Grant
Shump played with Mozgov, JR smith, Channing frye and Dahntay Jones on that Chip winning Cav's team.
His rookie year was statistically his best playing 28min avg. He tore his ACL first game vs. Miami in 2012 playoffs that year.
That he returned the next season to play 45 was still something but to lose that much time and so dependant on raw athletic abilty had an effect.
That he played 10 seasons I'd say is not a bust even as a role player haven been taken 17th. He had some important moments with Cavs and a ring to show for it.
Anthony Randolph- he wore the uniform and sucked

Good list. I would replace Grant with Frank Williams, I believe we drafted him out of Illinois.

Painful. Can I pick Nene Hilario (7th pick) since we traded him for McDyess who ended up playing a total of 18 games for the Knicks? More of a wasted pick than a draft bust.
How about Lamarcus Aldridge and Joaquin Noah?
Gotta go with top ten picks so Knox, Hill, Sweetney, and Frank. Will Obi be the 5th?
Dishonorable mention (15th pick) Frederic Weis. Perhaps the worst Knicks pick in my fan life.
Honorable mention: the draft of 1996, three first round picks John Wallace, Dontae Jones, Walter McCarty.
Three passes on Derrick Fisher
If we are talking players taken high and expected to have a big impact, for the Knicks, but did not...
1. KP
2. Hill
3. Walker
4. Frye
5. Frank/Knox
Hopefully RJ and Obi won't be added to the list.

24 though
True he’s up there. And I loved him in college.
Keeping it with top 10 picks and how they did in a knick uniform
PG Frank ( this one is unfortunate as I loved his defense and his shot showed promise god thought whenever he had a good game he would be out for a week or more )
SG Art Heyman college player of the year hot head from duke drafted in 1963 out of the league 1966
SF Kevin Knox nice kid lacked intensity
PF Jordan Hill WOW someone should be fired lol
C Tom Riker never averaged more then 3 points a game
Bench
Kenny sky walker
Channing Frye
Trent tucker 6 overall pick never averaged more than 11 pts a game. Great game winner though.
Gene short
Michael sweetney
Jim Barnes

I still have ptsd from the Weis pick. Ron Artest was the obvious pick there

Frank actually played for us and the guy we supposedly “missed out on” — Dennis Smith Jr, turned to be an even worse player. The media clowns love to pretend they all knew who Donovan Mitchell was before the 2017 draft but fact is 11 other teams besides the Knicks passed on him too
