I mean probably not much different than last year. 37 wins. That’s how good Brunson is. He’s the difference between a 37 win team and a 50+ win team if he doesn’t miss many games.

The problem with Randle is the more responsibility you give him the worse he is. It has been this way from the start. Randle should strictly be a finisher. ISO Randle should be only used when he has a mismatch. Listen to what Lue says here.
This is what everyone will do once the playoff start. Brunson makes Randle be more of a finisher. That is better for everyone involved but for some reason we still ISO Randle near the end of games. That one game winning shot does not erase his near bottom of the NBA clutch stats. Even with the shot he made in MIA that was a terrible play. He was doubled for most of the play with the open man one pass away and wide open. We all knew there was no chance at Randle passing that ball and that is why teams hard double him in the clutch. Randle has problem reading defenses all game but once it gets to clutch time his tunnel vision is like looking through a straw.
Thibs really should have done something like get a technical- Randle got upset that the game was physical, the refs weren’t calling fouls, and Randle was getting frustrated.
We’re a borderline lotto team if we shoot poorly and RJ Barrett puts up 11 points.

You’re 100% right. But he will come cheaper than d Mitchell would have (and maybe even Anunoby) and I believe Chicago has been a poorly ran organization during his time there. It’s strange to say but the Knicks have a good culture going and a player like LaVine, who is still a little younger than Randle, could maybe reach another level with the Knicks. There’s plenty of reasons not to do it but these are the gambles teams make to get to the next level. Knicks could have 3 allstar type players and surrounding with the perfect role players like IQ, Grimes, Hart and Robinson. I can see it coming together and that team making real noise. LaVine is a bigger wing who can really shoot, and should compliment Brunson and Randle well on offense, in fact, I think it can be a league best offense. And as far as defense the group I listed above should keep this a top 10 defense. This team can only hold up with a healthy Brunson, they need more. If LaVine didn’t have the wild contract he would cost the multiple unprotected picks and swaps and I really don’t want to pay that for a player that isn’t a top 10 guy. I really only want to target guys who won’t completely eliminate flexibility like the Mitchell deal in Cleveland. If Brunson is out, the ball is put in Randle's hands nonstop and it’s a flashback to everything we hate as fans. LaVine provides a shooter/scorer/ playmaker and I think Brunson, like with Randle, would have an excellent influence on LaVine. Are you suggesting that we trade RJ for Zach? If so, whats the motivation for the Bulls to pull the trigger on that deal?

I think it would be RJ, Drose and picks. The motivation would be a fresh start with the picks, a young player, and a rose reunion. But like any team who is due for a rebuild, it’s about the picks. My bet just is his cost is less than d Mitchell’s was.

No foul called. Agree about JB. He is so darn efficient and seems to get a basket every time we need to stop the bleeding or when other teams are making a run.

Wow that picture is really bad. It is also one of the things I hate about the NBA the most. Players who don't foul bait are at a disadvantage. The NBA tried to stop it but then the Hardens and the Trae's of the world turned trash so they changed course. I never watch Philly games because their baiting has them continually taking fts all game. That is unwatchable to me.

What I am about to say hurts me to admit as much as the next guy. Mase and Oak never won a championship either. What stuck with me is MJ saying it's 90% mental and only 10% physical. Think about it in that sence
