Might as well try and tank and play lotto
They are starting the corpse of Kevin love.
They have so many holes in their roster, they are getting blown out by the bulls. Pat bev was a great get for them!
Imagine any of the top 3 picks would have the heat right back there. Wemby, Miller, scoot...
Even with their issues you can’t tank with Butler, Adebayo and Herro.
Did you forget Duncan “ef” Robinson who is unplayable and getting paid 90 mil
Save me the 2020-2021 Covid-19 Tainted Year.
Because I think it's pretty funny watching Erik Spoelstra begin to get EXPOSED now that he's without a (PRIME) LeBron James led Superhero Team featuring the likes of D-Wade/Chris Bosh/Ray Allen + Prime LeBron James.
Not only 10-14 previous 14 games (under Regular Season pressure) but just got blown out by a mediocre Chicago team.
It's either Erik Spoelstra is losing control of his locker room or he just doesn't know how to coach (these) Miami Heat players.
Because HIS OFFENSE is ranked 25th (🤮) and just as BAD as tank teams offenses such as Detroit/San Antonio/Houston and Orlando's crap Offenses.
Coach Thibs would be buried 6 feet DEEP if NY currently featured the 25th worst Offense (Erik Spoelstra) within an Offensive Driven League.

Or they’ve had a ton of injuries and their gm has managed their roster poorly.

Who was injured last night?
Another team I would not sleep on. They tend to pick it up once the playoffs start.
Im not talking shit until they are eliminated. They are well coached and perhaps playing above their talent level even being in this thing still......
I don't like them but I respect them.

Maybe you can check out the boxscore and let us know.
No need to hate on Spoelstra.
This team replaced an aging pg with another aging pg a coupe of years ago and the results have not been good. Lowry seems cooked. Same goes for Oladipo.
They’re a bit tied down capwise and either need either Bam and Herro to really take the next step into legit # options, otherwise they’re stuck.

I don't wanna hear that type of talk in defence of Erik Spoelstra.
Because I've (learned) how to give all NBA Coaches the "Tom Thibs Treatment".
Excuses don't matter; only results to.
Remember when Tom Thibs inherited a 21-45 💩 Roster and inherited the likes of...
Elf Payton.
Dennis Smith Jr.
Reggie Bullock.
Taj Gibson.
Ignas Brazdeikis.
Frank Ntilikina.
Kevin Knox.
?
(Anyone know their advanced 2022-2023 Statistics)?
And not only did Tom Thibs inherit those 6 players from 21-45's team before making the biggest Turnaround within Franchise History @ 41-31 (the following season) but he also had more mediocre to 💩 players on his 2020-2021 Roster such as...
Norvel Pelle.
Alec Burks.
Nerlens Noel.
Theo Pinson.
Austin Rivers.
Etc.
(What are their 2022-2023 advanced stats)?
And was also without MITCHELL ROBINSON vs. Atlanta while Clint Capela feasted like Shaq O'Neal during the Playoffs (because of no Mitch).
But yet fans who criticized Thibs for "losing to Atlanta" weren't using those same injuries and poor GM crap roster excuses, now were they?
Erik Spoelstra is only a 7th seed Play-In (@ best) type of Head Coach @ barely .500 this year and has only gone 10-14 previous 24 games (under Regular Season Pressure) @ only .416%.
And Erik Spoelstra is the LEADER of an atrocious 25th ranked Offense that's no better than tank teams Offenses such as Detroit/San Antonio/Houston/Orlando
As a diehard Coach Thibs supporter who's both stuck up for and defended him for going on 3 years now?
I'm sorry Martin but I don't wanna give Erik Spoelstra any "excuses" for his teams crap play; he deserves the "Tom Thibs" treatment (imo).

You learned how wrong others were but you’d like to take that same level of stupidity and keep at it?
The version with past his prime Butler and Herro being asked to do too much?
Butler seemed like he was coasting until February. Check out his amazing stats in 10 games in March:
26ppg/7rpg/4.5apg
57%fg/40%3p/88% ft on and he’s taking 10.9 fta/gm.
But Miami is playing without a legit NBA starting PG or PF and little reliable depth. Herro is miscast, functioning as an illegitimate PG. and if Love if their starting, I can’t even imagine what production they expect from their backup big.
The roster has serious gaps. I don’t think Thibs could do better.
Heat and Knicks are similar are the top talent wise... Bam/Butler/Herro are good, but their supporting cast is trash this year. Where we have guys like IQ/Grimes/Mitch/JHart/IHart and Obi their guys have been really bad. Lowry is trash. Duncan Robinson when from really good to literally trash. Nothing from Dipo, Strus isnt very good. Lowry and Duncan Robinson combine for $45mm. In fact Lowry is being paid more than ANY of our guys so that tells you about their current roster construction
Heat defense is what carries them. They won’t out finesse on offense but will “Get you ugly” then Herro plays Hero.
They don’t give up and win a fair amount of close games.
I know we up in the standings and we can look down and verbally kick them but they been to FInals and Conference finals just last year. So lets not pretend Spro has lost it and the team flat sucks.
Last year most knick fans were bowing down to Riley “genius” despite his mistakes.
Yes, good teams make mistakes.
Jimmy Butler has to pace himself thru a season. He flipped the switch of late and shows what he can do.
They are like the bad guy in a movie. You think they down and out, then when you turn your back they get up again.
Y’all do what you want but strutting around like we “all that” and giggling at Boston and Miami like we the shit is your choice.
If it don’t work out and start yelling about Randle or RJ needing to go cuz they made you look bad is not how teams construct.
Lets see how knicks finish, and do in the playoffs.
We might be going places, but we are not there yet.
