Ah ... math!

If the Knicks win "at least" 4 games they'd have 47 to 49 wins wins.

In order to get 47 wins to tie and win by tie-breakers, both the Heat (including theit game tonight) and Nets would have to go 7-0 the rest of the way.

So yes, tell us more about how the Knicks have to win "at least 4" more games..?

Update!

If the Knicks go 4 and 2 and reach 47-35 the Miami Heat would need to go 7-0 in their remaining 6 games to catch the Knicks.

lol, anything is possible, you are forgetting they hold the divisional tiebreaker over the knicks... are you missing the “math” on that? Now, I didn’t say things were probable, just likely.

Let’s see how the game goes vs the heat tmw. I would rest Jalen; and give the heat hell. I hope iq doesn’t follow up the great game he had with a lesser outing

Likely and probable mean the same thing.

And no, I didn't forget the tie-breaker, which is why I have you the math on both teams finishing 47-35. Same way I didn't forget the Nets will HAVE to beat the Sixers in their last game just to push the tie-breaker to the conference record tier, which the KNicks currently enjoy a 1.5 game lead on.

The point is, there is NO reason to think either team can go undefeated the rest of the way, and Miami already didn't.

Both teams win 5 more games (Heat 5 of 6, Nets 5 of 7) which is likely GENEROUS, Knicks win outright at 3-3.
