Is anyone successfully using VPN with NBA League Pass to get around the regional blackout?
I get an error message:
There was an error playing this video. Please check your connection or try again later. If this problem persists, contact customer support with the following details:Error Group:out of country blocked because client is neither in home country nor in content portability region
Error Code:7027
Can they somehow know I"m using a VPN? Isn't that part of the point of VPN, that they don't know?
Probably something in your vpn ip address tips off the programming of the app
What part of the country is your VPN connecting to? The error looks like you are connecting to a VPN server abroad
I use proton VPN free version which connect to 3 free VPN servers. Netherlands, usa and Japan. Make sure you connect to usa and hopefully it's not the NY VPN server. If it is then disconnect and try again

Will try, thanks!
When you guys use VPNs, you are connecting to NBA league pass via computer right? Not thru TV?
Some VPNs dont mask your identity as well as others. I would check out the VPN reviews and find the best one you can.

Yes I do it with my firetv. Get ExpressVPN and switch your location to DC. Shouldn’t have any problems watching Knicks game
