Great thread. The FO definitely deserves their flowers. And lets not forget the guy we love to hate, Mr. James Dolan who hired Leon Rose and them stepped out of the kitchen. He's been hands off, or thats been the perception. And so far everything is working accordingly. Thank you FO for not falling into these knee jerk reactions, based on wins or losses. And thank you for not giving up on the yoots.
Thibs might be old school who prefers vets, but he seems like the perfect coach for this young team. Love the development path of IQ and others. I'm even excited about RJ. I think he has a lot of promise on and off the team. And he's a generally good dude. I just hope he can find his footing on this team.

Great job by the FO for adding Brunson and especially Hart, the ultimate glue guy.
The brilliance of it all, aside from the great drafting of IQ, Grimes and Mitch, is that they have managed the signings of Randle + Brunson, 2 star players on decent contracts, and also Mitch, to allow them the flexibility to resign their 2 young studs. If they can work some way of ditching the EF contract, even better!

From what I have read the contract is a sort of asset as the guy can still play and facilitate a bigger deal. So there is no rush to pay to dump him. Granted, there are 100 scenarios were he is an asset, and perhaps a liability also so who knows where we go and how we get there.
I guess Dallas won’t be too friendly to trade us Luka anytime soon? LOL……
ON point, that we tilted from a “Elf/Burks/Nolens/DRose/Taj” vets as role players to yoot is impressive!
I do think we need to do a consolidation trade of some sorts. Yes, some players might blossom away from us but one does not want to lose them for nothing as did Dallas with Brunson.
