If RJ didn’t play, do we win this game?
I still feel like RJ and Randle don’t fit. The difference is Randle has All Star skills, so he gets a pass. But it’s clear if you watch the pace of this team without Randle and RJ. Of course we are a worse team without them or really without Randle. I’m not arguing that. It’s just ugly basketball when our two ISO players don’t have it going because instead of passing more they shoot more when they not hitting. And it’s tough to win games when they are shooting bad.
Or
Maybe this the Brunson affect and I need to chill out and drink some tea. That’s a lot of pressure on one player now, with Randle being injured and will need a few games to get his wind back. But if anybody can carry a team is Brunson who already proved it. So never mind. Carry on gents.
Loved the effort and nobody got hurt! That is all you can ask for.
RJ's three point shooting is going to be a huge x factor against Cleveland. If he somehow catches fire or just shoots avaerage we'll have a great chance. And Grimes shouldn't change a thing. He needs to keep being aggressive and put up shots and drive to the basket.
As far as the Dallas tank, of course I hate it. But let's be fair. If we were Mavs fans we'd be happy. Cuban was smart here. They had no shot in the play-in. They are not a good team despite having two super stars. Goes to show you having the stars doesn't always mean you'll be good. But if you want to blame anyone, blame Adam Silver and Stern before him. This was their idea and it's their league. It promotes and encourages tanking. And it's now been proven a team could care less about a play-in spot. Do not be surprised if Dallas wins the lottery now and ends up with Wembanyama.

Some teams do care about the play in. Dallas cared a few days ago. Cuban just wants to spite the Knicks. They might win the lottery and that would terrible
.However from the day Dallas tried to take advantage e of the Knicks with KP and Cuban was taking a victory lap then, I said this is not going to work out for them. Let them win the lottery and I don't think it will work out for them. Just as much chance their cynical tanking results in the Knicks getting the pick anyway in the lottery
Watching the game now. RJ to end the half LOL. He takes the ball out of the PG's hands, walks it up and with his back to the basket time expires. Geez
