Is Okoro healthy? If Okoro is starting then I don't think the matchup warrants a rotation switch. I really like how IQ meshes with the second unit, especially with Randle possibly out at the start of the series. Meant IQ, not Hart.
IQ is best off the bench manning the second unit. If you start IQ, then who is going to be the backup PG. I guess you can try to stagger minutes between IQ and Brunson, but it seems simpler to leave the rotation as it is. Barrett just needs to play better. Really, all Barrett needs to do is look to pass more, shoot fewer 3s, and pick up his defensive intensity. These are all things Barrett can do.
Hell, if y'all want to keep IQ in the second unit, I'd start jHart.
Don't make boat rocking changes heading into the post season. Thibs would (of course) NEVER do that, but it's also just a terrible, chemistry-impacting change. Plus we need RJ's confidence to go up...not plummet further.
RJ already runs with the second unit, and in the end...it's all about the burn, not who starts. IQ will play his fair share of mins, especially if he keeps ballin like a mad genius.
Now if we could just find a way to distill some of IQ's burgeoning confidence and inject. it into RJ's brain!

I'm going to assume this is a joke (Remember Drose starting). Lets hope Thibs learned his lesson on what not to do. Also, with the look of our small ball lineup, don't be surprised to see a new rotation wrinkle for the playoffs, especially against the Cavs.
Can’t change anything this year. But next year could be a different story.
Barrett hasn’t deserved the bulk of the mins he’s been given the past few years.
It’s really about Thibs —- I see 5 guys that deserve RJ’s minutes over RJ.
IQ, Hart, Grimes, Obi & yes even Deuce
I 100% expect us to start RJ but the leash will be short and he will likely sit down the end of games.

This is the way… do what they have been doing. If Thibs isn’t feeling it he’ll just play Hart over RJ which he’s already shown he’ll do.
I REALLY wanna see more of the IQ/Jhart/grimes trio together. That’s a sick line up on D and pretty explosive the way they can all shoot and get hot. That’s a bench lineup that can erase double digit deficits FAST ✅✅
Let’s vote on what Thibs should have for dinner.

Anyone who doesn't vote salad is definitely trying to get fired... From life.
RJ does not deserve his minutes?
Shit, the young man earned him a 100mil contract next 4 years!
I get plug and play numbers tell a story. But its not the whole story.
I have no qualms the best lineup playing should finish and thats what Thibs does.
its not who starts, its who finishes.
The kids hangs 20 a night at age 22 and incrementally gets better each season.
This year his growth pales next to IQ and Grimes. Its a good thing actually.

Yup - let’s keep our fella going! Of course we’ll vote salad but he’ll order the steak, 40 minutes worth….
In fairness, the question is based in Net Ratings in the attached link more than thoughts and feelings. Turns out that the best Net Rating overall is
McBride/Hart/Barrett/Toppin/Hart
And the lineup of Brunson/IQ/Grimes/Randle/Robinson has a better net rating than with Barrett instead of IQ.
I mean, if both units are better with the switch…
Keep Barrett. He’s gonna have his work cut out for him though. Lots of rim protectors on that Cavs team and his shooting overall this year hasn’t been great but I’m rooting for him. I think I’ve RJ can tap in on both ends he could swing this series in our favor.

Thibs won’t chew and will choke on his steak —— I say pasta.
