Sas and CLT had balls come up after them. Not just SAS.
The balls are drawn with team reps and they can’t leave the room until the TV show is done.
Macri had Fred Katz on who was in the room.
Every year the odds reset. The Timmy Lottery was different then the Current set up. When you tanked the odds were more with you.
Reverse narrative can make anything sound like a conspiracy. But leaving facts out does tilt if thats where your going.
I have seen where the bent envelope has been refuted and debunked as well. I suppose if you want to believe its rigged, have fun with it.

They’re back to ping pong balls? Gotcha, makes sense. Between yard work and the new pellet grill, it’s hard to be indoors with the tv on.

Your brand new grill doesn’t get ESPN? 🤭

I got the basic, no sports package.

Seriously what the fuck why are the Heat so good?

Riley sold his soul to the devil.

They steal game 1 again.

I dunno, but it kinda makes me feel better about our situation.

We could of won this year. If our guys could shoot we could of beat the Heat. So frustrating.

They pass to the open man and the open man can hit a shot. Even if they ISO its not like our ISOs. The ball moves to the open man every time. There is no holding the ball too long or forcing bad shots against good defense. Who ever is open find him the ball.

With a combined yearly salary that's a little more than half of what Evan Fournier made this year.

They are executing perfectly and are mentally sure they are gonna win every game. Its an astounding turn of events. I thought we knocked em out when we beat that in the game that kept out us out of the play in and pushed them into it.

They'd beaten us another way perhaps?

Uptown @ 5/18/2023 9:10 AM
Boston's effort and focus has been very inconsistent from game to game and quarter throughout these playoffs. The Heat play every game like its their last and their attention to detail and unselfish nature is compelling. Coach Spo rings the rag completely dry, getting every ounce of talent from his roster....

Injuries shouldn't be an excuse but I do feel if Randle isn't out at end of year for the Obi glory run and Grimes isn't so banged up, Knicks give Miami a much bigger scare in that series.

Knicks are really close to being scary, sneaky legit

Lack of consistent out-side shooting has been our achilles heel all year and the Heat, smartly, exploited that weakness

Uptown @ 5/18/2023 10:08 AM
Wouldn't mind the Celtics imploding and Brown quietly demanding out....Except for Brunson, everyone else and multiple picks are on the table...

I agree. If Randle was in game 1 different series. If any of our players outside of the top 3 played to par (actually excusing iHart on this) could be a different series and if any of them had played above par (the way Vincent and Martin did) we win

Some of that will happen with experience but there is no doubt we need shooting. We play a lot of iso but i don't think it's because Jules or Jalen are inherently selfish the way Melo was. I think it's because they don't trust spraying it out to their shoorters. Grimes and RJ can help this team immensely if they become more reliable and willing shooters (RJ is will but not reliable, and Grimes could be reliable but seems unwilling). Also if we play Deuce as back up pg (or ROkas) then IQ can spend more time off ball and contribute as a shooter. In pg role he's more of a scorer

Strangely whether he demands out or stays in i think the Knicks will benefit in certain ways. Obviously if he leaves for us or elsewhere the Celts will suffer by losing a key piece. But even if he stays, Jason and Jaylen's super max contracts will severely limit their flexibility

they'll be victims of their own success

The East broke perfectly for us too this year. We could have beat Boston.

ESPN's half time: Jalen Rose is turning into a 70s soul star before our very eyes....

I don’t know that Knicks have any shot at the younger top/elite players in the league like Brown.

If made available wouldn’t teams loaded with mega-picks like OKC/Utah go get a young star wing? How do we compete with those cats?

Seems like we need to go for the used car stars.

LivingLegend @ 5/19/2023 1:15 AM
Anthony Davis must drive Lakers crazy —- didn’t watch all,of game tonight but while he was solid defensively & boards - think he went 5-17 after highly efficient 40 game 1. He’s so talented but yet leaves you wanting more.
