That right there is all the proof you need that both the Knicks and Cavs made the best decision for their organization in the D Mitchell trade.

Good catch! I like that we did make a run for it but at the end of the day we kept our cards close and can use them for another day!

Gobert suspended tomorrow for Timberwolves against Lakers. Even though he slugged a teammate I say conspiracy....

Nah, they would've let him play if it were a legit conspiracy.

The Minnesota Timberwolves had a 46-36 record without Rudy Gobert in 2021-22.

Will the Knicks play off games be on MSG ?

This is do or die time for Thibs. The main complaint about him is his ability to adjust takes too long. He has changed this season but the playoffs is really where adjustments are needed fast enough to make a difference. We have enough talent we just need to put them in positions to succeed and to play the players who are helping us win regardless of their name/contract value. This is not the time to worry about anyone's feelings. The playoffs are just about winning by any means necessary. The more you win the less feelings will get hurt.

How to say the regular season doesn't matter by directly saying the regular season doesn't matter. For the sake of a hot take, of course.

Everyone knows the playoffs are a different animal, but can't you just say playoff basketball is different because of the hyper focus on one team? To call the regular season fools gold...this is exactly what Dame was talking about a few weeks ago.

Hawks vs cHeat is going to be like watching that couple you hate finally have their final fight and break up.

And no chance the zebras allow the Wolves to beat the Lakers.

If Lakers meet the Warriors will refs have to “choose?”

VDesai @ 4/11/2023 10:46 AM
In the play in I see the Heat beating the Hawks and the Lakers over the Wolves. For the 2nd play in I think Toronto beats Chicago and also beats the Hawks and moves on. In the West, I'd the the Pels over the Thunder and then the Wolves over the Pels.

so if he doesnt upset the higher seed it's a fail? I mean Cle is legit a better team and even younger than we are. You think the Knicks are more talented than Cle? I love our team but that is not the case. The only CLEAR advantage Knicks have is depth. Our bench has impact players, they have Rubio/Osmond/Levert...
Clean @ 4/11/2023 1:34 PM
Well I had no idea people would take the do or die line as talking about the team winning or losing. I was talking about if Thibs truly has improved on his ability to make quick adjustments. That was the theme of the whole post and tweet so I thought it was obvious. Thibs has made adjustments this season for the betterment of the team but in the playoffs even more will be needed to be made depending on the tactics teams use.
Nalod @ 4/11/2023 1:54 PM
Adjustments don't always execute.
Sometimes talent exceeds best efforts to adjust, and execute.
The better team wins. We come with impact yoot, Clev has some veterans to counter.
This is JHarts first playoff series. I expect him to be cool, but still he is emotional.

First things first, our All star PF has been out a few weeks and that will matter.
No excuses, just reasons.
My view is many of the "Thibian" stereotypes are not relevant.
I think he and the staff have done a very good job developing the yoot while our top guys have also improved.
Get RJ's "Spot up" and 3pt back up to 35-40% level amd perhaps we are solid for this series. I suspect he'll cut him back if he does not hit them.
Other than a games that's whats been occuring.

Gobert wasn't even on the TWolves in 21-22. Not sure what this does here.

Nalod @ 4/11/2023 2:52 PM
That punch was a chest punch and Anderson was baiting him over and over again.
What I read was Rudy was playing hurt and he was saying to Anderson he doing the best he could playing hurt.
Anderson kept it up.
What is likely is Rudy's back hurts and he might not have been able to play tonite anyway.
KAT is not 100% gonna play tonite.
Maybe they tank the game and go for the 2nd playin game?
They a mess!

Ha! true on hawks v heat

Alpha1971 @ 4/11/2023 7:45 PM
That Gobert trade keeps getting worse for the Timberwolves. Man with the picks Utah got for him I bet they could have traded for Lauri and Sexton and kept Mitchell of they wanted to
ToddTT @ 4/11/2023 9:05 PM
I will never not root against Trae Young. Let’s go Heat!

It shows how much of a crap show Rudy has been for them. Not saying Rudy is a bad player, but he's been a deficit for that team.
