I can't believe how much Murray progressed throughout the season. It wasn't that long ago when he was being locked up by IQ in crunch time. Now It wouldn't be crazy to say he's top 10 at his position.

Basketball is such a simple sport. Jokic can't be guarded because he makes the right play every time. There is no constant diets of forced shots or late shot clock passes meant to give him assists. If you are open he will get the ball to you or someone with a better angle for the pass. He is not hunting for assists. They come from making the right reads.

Such a unique guy

I'm forever grateful to Jokic and this entire Denver team. I don't think I could have handled another cHeat championship LOL Considering if they would have won this one, it would have been the single greatest championship run in NBA history. Nothing tops winning a ring as an 8th seed. I mean, why bother going on after that point? So I'm super happy the Nuggets won it! Plus Jokic deserves it. He's without a doubt now the best player in the league and now has the hardware to back it up. And he's such a likeable guy too! Great teammate, selfless on the court, no drama, no wanting to get traded or have the coach fired every other year either. He also seems like an amazing man off the court with his wife and little daughter. Adam Silver should market and make Jokic the face of the league if he were smart. Ideal player and role model for the younger generation and the opposite of guys like Morant and Kyrie.

Very happy for Murray too! Great story of redemption and perseverance to come back from a knee injury. Also loved that Bruce Brown got a ring after KD pretty much wanted him off the team cause he forgot to bring him his tampons one morning or something like that.

Definitely going to enjoy the day knowing Riley, Zo, Hardaway, Wade and that entire organization is in misery and pain today.

Miami finished 2-7 over their last 9 games.

No idea if that is more indicative of their team or they just shot really hot from 3 in the first 3 rounds to beat a limping Milwaukee and Knicks teams and then did initially well against Boston.

Ten people wounded by gunfire in "celebration" of Nuggets championship. NBA should start fixing things Knicks' way - New Yorkers don't riot and kill when we win.

Yep

guys nuts didn't give Jimmy a safe landing spot

Indeed. Against us i don't think they shot hot so much as they shot ok and took a lot.

We need shooting!

Miami shoots 45% from deep against Milwaukee, 31% against Knicks, 43% against Boston, 34% against Utah.

The biggest complaints I thought I see while reading the reactions were that Knicks 3point defense kept leaving guys wide open.

i think it's one of those psychological bias things. You see a guy nail an open 3 and you think theyre all open and always hit

i forget the stats in the series but they were shooting like 10 more a game

celts have the same playbook -- lots of 3s and refer to it as "just math"

I don't like to brag too much, but I was able to skip directly from being bad, right to failing. We call that efficiency.
