I totally agree with this. We lost two stars today alone because of this.

Might as well go all the way. Just allow only offensive players in the paint. Defense has to do their job outside the paint only. If any defender steps in the paint at any point call a foul. That will really really limit the injuries.

I read that like Austin Powers.

There are things called steals and blocks. Refs can also stop calling fouls on the defense when the offense initiates the contact. There are many ways to give defense more advantages. I am sorry but sliding under a guy who is in the air is not something I can get behind. Like the one tweet said bring back hand checking to help slow down offenses. Aything but undercutting player who are up in the air.

Hoping he still has more playoff shots in the chamber and hoping this doesn’t make it rain on Memphis.
It looks like a bad PhotoShop.
KD is demanding a trade to the Clippers.

Lol. Was thinking that. And that the Suns actually seem worse for having traded for KD.

I'll take the old forearm check from 1995. I agree with this. Offensive players are too free to initiate contact and feel comfortable with the fould call. I think at some point whoever initiates the contact should be called for the foul (especially if it isn't a real basketball move). I hate shooters jumping into defenders who made a good defensive rotation only to go to the line for a fake ass shot.

Ha!
The Knicks winning game 1 against the Cavs is by far my playoff delight of the weekend. A KD fail is a little dab of gravy.

Yes. I’d give up what would be close to a max level trade for him.
What does max level mean for you Martin in regard to trading for Bridges? No way I would go anywhere near the rumored Mitchell trade pkg.
The pick side of things and salary. Not IQ, Grimes.
RJ and maybe 2 unprotected? RJ and 1 or both of the Detoit, Washington picks with an unprotected. Along those lines.
If Bridges continues this level of play next year. he will be allstar. RJ is not nearly enough as the main peice of a package for Bridges...
Oh, I’d include Obi in a hot minute too
Serious
IMO, RJ and Obi isn't enough to pry one of the leagues best 2-way players and future allstar from the Nets. Elite 2-way players are rare and if I'm the Nets, I'm not looking to move him unless I'm offered a franchise changing, perennial allstar.

The nba’s power couple KD/Kyrie won’t even get the first round, again.
Or stop allowing offensive players to initiate contact and steamroll players to get fouls and dunks. Stop making defenders who are already limited in how they can defend, have even less ability to play D. Players like Giannnis, Harden, Morant, recklessly bull their way to the hoop knowing the defender can't touch them, and then try to embarrass them by carelessly jumping out of the gym to poster them with dunks. Kristaps lost a season and his time with the Knicks because Giannis did this to him, where was the complaint then?
Players need to stop thinking they are Shaq, but at least he backed you down to the basket, not run full-speed jump as high as he could and then land on you, imagine the injuries to defenders if he had. So, they put themselves at risk, and if the defender can establish a legal charging position and are willing to take the impact, allow it, or change the rule one or both ways. I'd prefer stopping the initiator of the reckless play, the Morants & Giannis, not the defender. This is not an all-star game, it is the playoffs, you earn baskets, not just given a Fournier/Prigioni lane to an open highlight dunk.

Man, even with Herro out with broken hand last night and playing 19 minutes, Duncan Robinson plays 6 minutes and Lowry plays 19 minutes off bench. That's $17M and $28M respectively. With one more year for Lowry and 2 more for Robinson.
Almost forgot about Oladipo, got zero minutes. $8.7M.
Yikes
