I hope Im completely wrong here but I feel the same way.
Add to the fact that Randle may not be at 100%
Good thing JB has no respect for rim protection.
I don't have great vibes for the Knicks. I can see us winning, but if you put a gun to my head I would probably go with the Cavs.
For me it's about Randle (if healthy) and RJ playing smart ball and making adjustments if certain things aren't going right for them. If they force things inside the Cavs will have a lot of blocked shots.
Mitch can't be a knucklehead and accumulate dumb fouls.
Grimes has to be the Grimes of recent vintage, and he has to get involved in the offense early on.
IQ has to play smart ball and not try to do too much.
I hope Brunson isn't too rusty.
Should be interesting, whatever happens. This is a pretty gutty Knicks team, even if we have our mental lapses and guys trying to do too much.
If our guys play to their respective abilities we can win. My biggest fears are Randle & RJ trying to do too much.
Really hoping I don't have to change my prediction later today. We'll find out if Randle practices. We NEED him! I think we can still win at most two games with him being 60-75% of what he is or without him completely but asking to win four games and series is sort of unfair.

The Knicks thing to do though is Julius sits game 1 - team/kids come out flying all over, passing, running the floor and upset Cavs.
Julius returns game 2 —- and Knicks lose series 4-1.
I think this series will really magnify our teams struggle to implement two opposing offensive styles (starters/vets play slow, bench/youth play faster). If we improve on the correct formula - I do think we can beat the Cavs. I see it as an ongoing struggle and think we will have inconsistent performances from game to game. Stand by Cavs in 6 and hope I'm wrong!!

Yeah...we really do have two distinct styles. One where IQ gets a defensive and hands the ball off to Randle who brings it up slowly & looks to go 1/1 & drive into a triple team, the other where IQ gets the ball and immediately speeds up court looking for openings or open players.

Obi!!! Your time to shine!!!
The Nalodian take is about health. This series could go until April 30th! From what I have read Randle has not had full contact practice yet.
Okoro has had knee issues.
When Allen plays Brunson had not had good games.
Cav’s have top Defense in league, knicks 4th. They have a fast pace and are inefficient. Don’t believe me? Google RJ Barrett/Unltimate knicks!
Cav’s have top tier star healthy in DM , perhaps better starting 5, but bench is thin.
Mitchell needs to stay out of foul trouble but they have Ihart. They have luxury of Having IQ and Jhart and can finish is hot.
You will see RJ or grimes sitting at end of games if others are carrying the cross.
Randle is super important here and him back does not guarantee a performance and he could easily keep tweeking it.
Goes without saying a 1st two game split is near critical to any series, but this in particular for this reason.
Hope has to be Randle can return and stay on the court and quickly regain his stamina. Knicks pace will be a factor and you will see some ugly stretches of cold shooting. It is the way of Thibs.
I have an ass to hang, but this is a thread about predictions so I have to offer one. Knicks in 6. If we go seven, its Cav’s.
Really, I could care less about being right. Hope knicks sweep, get healthy and Miami takes Bucks to 7 and makes them tired.
Would love a run at Conf final!!! Actually would love if Nets were there!!!
We here. We ready. Game day!
Briggs is sticking with his 4-0 Cleveland prediction.
We can win this series with or without Randle
Knicks in 6, but if we take game 1, Knicks in 5.

I love this post!!
Absolutely hilarious!
The saying nowadays: No one ever says I am going on vacation to Cleveland! LoL
