Dude was afraid to shoot but glad he did other things

He hit the one three pointer that was big.

I just had a very scary thought - RJ is turning into Elfrid Payton!

Right but without the ability to dribble

Elfrid was good at D too. RJ has ways to go before Elfrid territory:)

Man shoutout to Josh Hart. Huge huge player. So happy with this win

Hart was the FO's apology to Thibs for Cam.

They corrected that mistake quite nicely. We can say moving Kemba for the Brunson cap space was equally as good. It’ll be interesting to see how they maneuver Fournier this summer

Are there 2 or 3 other guys in the league that play similar to Josh H that we might be able to make a run at?
He is pretty unique - very few guys that do so many different things well.

Trying to think…….

- Marcus Smart & Draymond but they would not be available
- Caruso
- less all-around but still impactful Herb Jones and Lou Dort

I swap RJ for Herb in a nano-sec

Watching GS versus Sac. I think you could put Donte Divencizo in that category.

Cam someone post Obi post game outfit - kid going Kyle Kuzma on us.

No like?

WOW BIG DADDY.

I’m out in Denver - watching game late / via recording but was just about to ask the group if Donte has a player option to opt out of his deal this summer?

Given the Nova connection and his solid play —- wonder if we could get him if he opts out —- even in some type of sign/trade.

He’d be a solid 4th guard with Brunson/Grimes/IQ/ Donte —- that’s a tough group.

I LOVE OBI

As of right now, Josh Hart trade > Donovan Mitchell trade

Who is with me?

martin @ 4/15/2023 11:39 PM
IQ RJ Grimes just gotta shake off the playoff newbie vibes

To a degree we won both by trading for Hart and while very debatable not giving up RJ/Grimes/Obi and what 5 or 6 picks/swaps?

LivingLegend @ 4/15/2023 11:46 PM
The Gobert trade — wowza that was something.

Rights to Walker Kessler, Vanderbilt, Beasley, Beverly

4 unprotected 1’s and 1 swap >……….to think they just could have kept Kessler and called it a day.

Above doesn’t even factor in Rudy contract.

I’m not a fan of superstar trades particularly in this new era of 4-6 picks going out along with players

Look at the Cavs bench. Hart was worth the pick and more.

Market correction incoming ? Maybe multiple picks outgoing is a thing of the past for non elite two way players. Gobert trade was stupid on the face of it in real time

This is how we got such a good offensive rating with such terrible shooting percentages. I really love the RJ defenders but to make it to the next level we need actual shooting ability. I did like him on defense tonight. Grimes and IQ gotta get out of this funk also.

There’s nobody in the bottom of the first (the pick we traded) that would impact this team more than Hart. This FO is the mvp.

J.Bryant’s impact on Randle and this team behind closed doors is a major impact on this team. Another solid hire by who, this FO. Can’t say enough about them.

But we need Hart to win this series! Just does all the little things and timely buckets.

blkexec @ 4/16/2023 8:52 AM
Is it me or does Mobley look and sound soft? Check out his post game interview. I think Randle is a load and tough player for Mobley to defend. Also Mobley always in a help defense position, he allows too many offensive rebounds.

This team gutted it out on defense. RJ offensively was awful but he played well in other areas.
All the advanced stats, +-, etc……….only one measure mattered. The Final Score!
Garland got shut down, Jhart on Donovan down the stretch, and Clev’s front line got gassed.
Our depth and defense won last night.
Thibs coached it well.
