Adios Olivia.
Can we play them again next round?
Not sure if anyone else was watching the NBA TV feed with Gus Johnson and G Anthony doing the game --- thought they were great and for a change seemed to be favoring the Knicks.
Gus had 2 great lines that made me laugh.
First Obi I think hit a mid-range plus banged in a 3 that lead to immediate Cavs timeout and Gus said Obi Toppin out here looking like John Havlichek.
Next there was a loose ball - Hart dove on the floor, flipped it to Brunson who hit Obi for the break away dunk. Gus goes --- Hart to Brunson to Toppin --- then he kept going Debussure to Bradley to the Pearl to Willis - thought it was funny because Gus seemed to be rooting for Knicks.
Gus called Knicks games for like 15-20 yrs, and obviously Greg played here, so that should have been a favorable announce team.
MSGs last telecast of the season. Clyde in top form - Toppin Droppin the 3 ball!
Coming back to mention OBI was huge at a point when I think our lead slipped to 6 -- think he went for something like 8 straight but may be imagining that.

Yep - Marv 1 and Gus 2 are my favorite Knicks play by play guys. Gus such great energy in key moments.

Quoted for TRUTH!

THIS 2023 KNICKS SQUAD = KILLER INSTINCT!
Funny, about Gus Johnson. Knicks Fan TV on YouTube interviewed Gus prior to Game 5. Go Watch it

Briggsy puts his money where his mouth is though. He’s on a winning streak.
Briggs had Cavs 4-0.
Yet put a bet on the Knicks to win and cleaned up.

Come on RJ, shut up the doubters and become elite. RJ .40 pct from outside and plays better defense and RJ is Star J
The funny thing is Hart been shootng above 50% from 3 since the trade. Its crazy.
Yeah, unless he's talking about Hartenstein, I'm not sure how he thinks jHart is going to come back shooting better than this year.

So much better than Mark Jax and JVG endless droning on some fake ass outrage. Thank Goodness we got Breen the other day between them.
Gus calls a clean game and Anthony is not to intrusive. Of course the outcome was great!!!!
It matters.
At least we don’t get Reggie and Bill Walton is gone from NBA.
League pass is done for seaosn and thus I don’t get MSG feeds anymore.

unreal its been that long
wild series.
Brunson has arrived. This is his team and that's great.
Thibs put on a coaching masterclass.
We need Jules. He was playing so well. Will be surprised if he's ready for Sunday.

Yes. Cleveland was one thing. Not confident enough vs. Miami without him. Good news is that with the games being spaced so far apart, he could take 10 days to recover and only miss games 1 & 2.
If we could even split those games, go into Miami 1-1 with a Julius return, I'd be feeling pretty good. Hart/RJ will have their hands full trying to contain Jimmy. Hope Grimes can make his return in this timespan too...

So proud of this team! Came into Cleveland and ripped their hearts out! First playoff win in ten years and second one in twenty one years!
That was a Dennis Rodman like game from Rob! He absolutely annihilated the entire Cavs frontcourt! Grabbed 11 offensive rebounds (ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!) and 18 total! Had 3 blocks but altered a lot more! All-Star Jared Allen looked like a kid playing against a grown man! Cavs were definitely thinking twice about going into the paint!
Hats off to Obi! Our All-Star PF goes down (PRAYERS FOR JULIUS WE NEED HIM!!!) and Obi steps in the biggest minutes of his career and has one of his best games! 12 huge points in that third quarter including a monster dunk, two threes and a nice pull-up! We need Randle against the cHeat but having Obi gives us great insurance!
Another great game by RJ! I was worried his good play came in large part to playing at home and was concerned if he was going to be able to play well on the road but he was outstanding! Terrific and smart drives to the hoop and even hit two threes! Also played great defense! Also great to see IQ snap out of his shooting slump! Had some nice timely hoops and played his usual lockdown defense on Garland! Brunson set the tone in the first half and Hart did all the little dirty plays as usual - 12 rebounds and lockdown defense on Spida!
Feel bad for Randle! He was having a great game! Bullied Mobley in the paint like a rag doll and made some really nice passes too! Hoping he is OK and doesn't miss too many games cause we need him! But the he fact that he was able to walk on his own and sat on the bench are good signs. Randle is a warrior and will do everything in his power to play.
Give Thibs his flowers! He coached an A+ series! Made all the right counters and the gameplan at both ends was outstanding! Cavs had no answers for anything! So happy for Thibs!
And this should end the Spida woulda coulda trade talk. He was once again outplayed by Brunson - who was the best player in the series and needs to start being acknowledge as a Super Star! - and proved he is not the guy you trade 3 unprotected picks for! Spida is a good player but he is no Kobe or that level of star. And you saw what the trade did to the Cavs depth. They had to play dinosaurs like Rubio and Danny Green!
Onto our good 'ol friends in Miami. A lot of history there. It will not be an easy series. Expect a bloody, long and stressful 7 games. Butler is a scary mofo and he is for real. But I feel the same way against the cHeat as I did before the Cavs series. cHeat have the best player on either team but we have the deeper and better team. The big difference is that Miami is a seasoned team that won't be rattled playing at MSG and Spoelstra is no JB Bickerstaff either. Some of these games will come down to Brunson vs Butler in the clutch.
THIS IS GONNA BE FUN!!!

I find Mitch particularly hilarious after 18 boards and 3 blocks.
Jarrett Allen ——- 4 pts and 4 boards.
This had the feeling of Hibbert vs Chandler
