More like a nice to have. Priority one is making sure the next man up (Obi at PF and McBride as the extra guy who'd slide into minutes) are prepared to contribute.
We can only hope that Randle and Grimes can make it back - Butler is a foul-generating machine and we need all the live bodies we can get to keep him off-balance.
I think we can still take down the Heat without them. They too are quite hobbled.
It's a little unfortunate that Sims had surgery on his injured shoulder and is out for the playoffs. He was another big man safety net for our already Randle-depleted core.

Playoff Jimmy agrees. And is chomping at the bit.

I missed he had surgery! he plays Bam very well if needed.
Game one vs heat is Sunday. We need randle for sure.
Was hoping Buck and Heat would have banged it out a few more.
We need Grimes to defend Butler. We need Randle to win the championship, but I think we can get by if we have to rest Randle for game 1 and 2. But without Grimes, Hart isnt available to play backup 4 if Randle is also absent.
Grimes is back. Praise baby jeebus

Need at least one and grimes is a great option to have because of butler and their small ball lineups. Our depth is our strength. This is why the healthiest team usually wins it all. Let’s how the dominoes continue to fall in our favor.
We need both back and both playing well! Especially Randle! I believe in Obi but we cannot beat the cHeat without an effective and productive Randle.

We can beat them at home without Randle. They’re missing Herro
What we need is to learn to pass. Randle really helps with that and he creates good scoring opportunities too

We were playing well and then the 3rd quarter happened. Heat just outplayed us and our outside shooting was horrible.

we shouldve had a bigger halftime lead--we became sloppy in the 2nd and momentum hit in the 3rd. IQ needs to slow down hes so important.

Yep. Those things.

I think IQ needs to speed up. They arent giving IQ the time to use his dribble to get his defender going the wrong way. Quickley has a great first step. He needs to use that a lot more, before the D is locked in. Right now the less dribbling, the better.
After sleeping on it, unless Randle comes back and plays like regular season All-Star Randle, this series will be over quick.

Obviously you need to stop sleeping

Who sleeps during the NBA playoffs, when you could be on here sharing the gospel instead?
Familiar feelings coming back.
It's a cross between despair and having your nuts hit with a baseball bat.

Wish IQ had come in for Brunson sooner.
Speaking of IQ, if JB sits, this will be his best chance to get over the hump. The minutes will be there.
