I know he isn’t a fan favorite but if Spo can find minutes for Duncan and start Love (two players whose defense is just has bad) I think Thibs can give Fournier a look out there.

It’s not like J. Hart was doing much out there anyway today

Really? You think Fournier is our answer to the Heat? Damn we are in trouble then

The couple of games EF saw action near the end of the season he couldn’t hit a shot either. He’s rusty. Not going to be a savior.

Right, Fournier would play exactly as Duncan did and go 0-5 and be useless for the Knicks but would serve nicely as a player to attack repeatedly just as the Knicks did with Duncan, so yeah play those guys.

Thibs is focused on defense not offense. It shows up bad in the play-offs.

Maybe you can let us know what any coach can do when their team can’t hit wide open shots

I could care less about her backstories...

Next time she's calling a game, I'm just gonna listen to the Chinese broadcast.

I think listening to paint dry is more entertaining than listening to her.
I watched the Cavs announcers in previous series and they were so far and away better at discussing the game than her.
She just likes to hear herself talk and tries sooo hard to sound intelligent.
I can deal with a loss, but having to put up with her mouth for 48 minutes is too much.

Doris is putrid. She makes Suzyn Waldman sound good. Part of me was happy we fell apart down the stretch I no longer needed to hear her and turned off the tv

I hated the camera work in the game… why are we shown 10 seconds of famous people sitting in their seats while basketball is being played?

Agree. I could care less about Ben Stiller sitting next to Justin Theroux

If Randle doesn’t come back Fournier is not a bad idea. I don’t like our lineup vs the Heat with Hart as the pseudo-4. It worked against that soft Cavs team it’s not going to work against the heat. We can have EF at the 3 and RJ at the 4 instead when Obi isn’t playing

That would have been prudent. I don't wish injury on anyone but for us not to try to take advantage of it was criminal

Thibs has improved on game to game adjustments but his in game adjustments are still trash. Spo will have an advantage there all day. Spo dont even need to adjust anything. Juts take away anything that is not shooting 3's and win the game. Heat are treating us like we treated the Cavs.

You hit the nail on the head. I liked the starting lineup that Thibs put out there, they got off to a good start. Then Thibs got outcoached, stuck with a small rotation, circled the wagons, so to speak. Didnt bring in help with fresh legs. Even Obi looked gassed at the end.

Bring in better defenders with fresh legs. IDK why Grimes didnt get much burn, if its his shoulder. But Deuce was available. Brunson played too much, so did JHart.

IQ is a better defender than Brunson. He needs to figure things out, or we're in trouble. Cant do it from the bench, and Brunson didnt look like his spry self tonite.

gradyandrew @ 5/1/2023 1:11 AM
With Randle and Sims out, Knicks lack size. Heat are really good at boxing out. Obi is more wing than Big. Knicks won the rebounding battle so maybe I'm wrong, I just think having Randle back who is big and strong enough to get through that contact is a huge game changer.

Fewer minutes

shinmen @ 5/1/2023 5:51 AM
Honestly, we just missed wide open shots. I'm not worried. Hart's defense was very good on Butler. Next one is a must win. I'm confident we can win at Miami.

Because what the Knicks were doing was clearly working, right?

Hart threw up about 4 wide open air balls and was getting worked by Butlers but sure, throwing Fournier out there for a few minutes is a terrible idea.

…and for the record, the Knicks didn’t “attack” Duncan at all.

Yes.
It was a terrible idea.
I invite you to check the games that EF got minutes in the last couple months and tell us what he contributed

Duncan was a primary focus of a ton of PnR's, not sure what you were watching.
