We trash. On to the next one.
Aaron Hicks and Kyle Hugashioka are every relief pitcher’s best friend
Thibs issues have popped back up this series. I love Hart like most but he should not be starting. You have to trust that Grimes can figure it out. Grimes already plays good D and Hart was too important to what the bench did. Now we still don't havwe shooting with the starters but now our bench is also a zero. How about running plays for Grimes to get more shots. They are going to be giving us open 3's anyway so its not like it would be hard. You just can't constantly run ISOs and then be surprised when no one else is in rhythm to make a shot. Don't get me wrong a lot of it is on Grimes and Quick but where are the plays to help them out?
There is no quitting in these Knicks. Let's get a few stops now

Quickley stinking at both ends. And it’s not just this series
It’s time to start focusing on guys who are going to step up in the playoffs. Knicks have some great momentum and need to improve by adding guys who will provide big boosts in the playoffs.
Just don't end the season in game five at MSG. That is all I ask.
Now 8 of 45 from deep. smh
Not only are we missing 3s, they then hit the shot clock so theres no rebound

I could understand if starting Hart helped with our shooting. We are missing the same shots with him starting. Why disrupt the rotation to this degree to still be having the same problems anyway.

I guess the logic is that he has played better than Grimes since joining us.

Grimes has done nothing. If he gets 48 minutes it would be 48 minutes of nothing
Nothing good in this game from the coaching or the players.

Yea that was the point of my post. Hart is playing better than Grimes. The team plays worse when Hart starts because he was so important for what the bench did. Every time he starts just cross off any help from the bench. If you want to try someone else inplace of Grimes that fine but starting Hart has not helped. The Heat will double Randle/Brunson off him every time without a second thought. So he is not helping them.

Amen.. that sums it up
My /OUR hope still for Knicks
HOWEVER before this series, though I think Knicks All the way,
MIAMI Hear is BETTER at this point of season for Playoffs Basketball
Butler ain't even 100% he gets 20+ points
and rest of BUTLER-Less Heat players Still KICKING Knicks Ass,
On 2nd chance attempts, at FT shooting, FG Shooting. Hustle plays
You name it , HEAT got a step up on us.
Our Bench seems in Awe on Floor and Overmatched.
YOU'd Think Knicks was Playing the GS Warriors, Denver Nugggets, OR any Other Stealth NBA Playoff hungry
team.
Other than less than 100% Randle and Brunson,
rest of Knicks NO MATCH so Far. However we got Game #4 is all we got for Season.
THIS players overwhelmed SHIT AINT Tom Thibs fault. *Period
Hicks getting booed in Tampa — lol
Offense was all isolations and Miami took that away from us and we had no counter. Pick for Brunson then nothing.
This did not feel like a playoff game from the Knicks point of view. It seemed like one team spent the three days off preparing and scheming and the other just chilled and relaxed. This is all coaching. And I know it's not fair to compare Thibs to Spoelstra. I mean there is no comparison. Spoelstra is the best coach in the entire league and give him three days to prepare and he will dissect your team and that's exactly what happened. Miami has done this to a lot of teams and that is why they have been an elite team for the most of the last two decades.
We started this game with little to no intensity or sense of urgency and that was surprising. I did not expect us to walk out like zombies to start and get down big early. Considering how poised and well this team played in Cleveland. Chalk it to inexperience I guess. But the lack of shooting and scoring just sucked the life out of the entire team. And this poor shooting is not a fluke! We haven't shot well the entire season. Games like game two are the fluke where we uncharacteristically shoot decent from three. That is not going to happen 90% of the time! This is why I think going up against this Miami team might have been the worst opponent for us. They are just too experienced and shoot the ball so much better that it's hard to compete.
Even tougher when your top two players play and shoot like crap. Randle especially was annoying in this game. Typical sleep walking Randle game where he plays as if he's a rookie and has no awareness defensively. Brunson did not look himself either. Looks a step slow like he did in game two so the time off didn't really do much. Went 0/5 from three which is killer.
And the lack of bench production, which was one of the biggest strengths the entire season, has been another killer. One of the worst things that happened was Grimes getting hurt. It sent Hart to that starting lineup and he's better suited off the bench on this team. It provides better balance and spacing. Having RJ and Hart together doesn't work against Miami. But I don't see Thibs changing this now.
Sucks to see IQ get injured. That looked bad and I would be surprised if he's back this season. Hopefully his poor playoffs are growing pains and he'll learn and get better from it. That's basically where I am with the entire team. Just go down fighting and learn from it for the future. Going forward, yeah we're down 2-1 but it's hard to see us beating that team three more times in 4 games. At least we didn't get swept! And I just don't want the season to end in game five at MSG.

It's a good point. Hart brought hustle and fast breaks from the bench. Also enabled them to be elite rebounding, which helps fast breaks.
