It works great against many teams. But at some point in the playoffs one of those center positions needs to be a guy who can score. We play 4-5 too much with less spacing
Mitch’s defense was keeping us in the game until the refs decided to take him out

These guys are both good system players and not the issue.
They're not going anywhere.
If anything, FO will look to upgrade the backup 4

Need a 4-5 two way player who can score inside.
I like both our centers but don’t like collectively they can’t score. Miami is able to use their defenders to stack the paint. Watch next time— our centers defender causes havoc

We're getting plenty of open shots. We just need people who can make them.

When we face a team w a scoring option at center we have to match it with defense and rebounding. We can most times. I thought we were exposed today. Bam and zeoller killed us and the more important piece is the defender cutting down the paint. Watch their 5 defender next game

We better not get rid of I-Hart and I agree with your thread title.

As good as hartenstein was in gane2 he was just as brutal today. But it’s not that. Miami is helping off the 5 clogging the lane causing havoc

That and Mitch’s defense, rebounding and rim protection has been key to our success all season long. He kept us the game (sorta) yesterday until the 3rd qtr when the refs decided they had enough and quickly gave him a 4th bs foul
Most Centers in today’s nba don’t shoot anyway.

We have guys getting open looks from 3. They are either bricking or passing up wide open shots
If Mitch isnt traded in the offseason, I hope Mitch and JB spend part of the summer working on developing some bball esp. I dont see a lot of plays run for Mitch by Brunson. No P&Rs few alley ooops.
Even if Mitch were replaced, we would still have the same issue. Brunson finding his bigs in the paint. Not counting Randle.
