Heat have been beating up the knicks
They have been making the knicks “feel” the heat on every play
The heat have been bodying the knicks.
Fighting. Giving the knicks nothing.
Pushing. Shoving. Boxing out.
Literally fighting for every lose ball.
Actually stepping on and kicking the knicks when they are down.
Face hits if the knicks get too close on D. Aka Gabe Vincent vs Brunson, and getting 3 foul shots. Take these plays and make this a series.
The knicks need to fight back.
They need to get tougher. Grimey.
Get up in them. Same level of intensity and grit.
Dive for loose balls and get at their ankles.
Bowl into them. Rough em up. Bring 12th mans in. Their back up center, Zeller, is slaughtering the knicks. Use toughness.
We need Obi to play tougher. Mitch rob, Ihart, etc
Play desperate
Oakley was an enforcer. We have plenty of tough guys on the team. Their style of play.
Some playoff games teams have, and are going to outmuscle us. Just as we've done the same to them. Happened to the 90s Knicks as well. Its about having enough physical and mental toughness to get through a tough seven game series.
Right now we need more mental toughness than physical toughness.
Knicks have big and strong guys. They just need the type of enforcers who can influence the game by energy and toughness. More guys like Hart.
We did not need them in the regular season or vs. Cavs.
But now after one game we need………….
And shooters.
if we win tomorrow, then what?

Caseloads will do his beer thing and create 5 new threads on whatever first pops into his head
We don't need enforcers but we do need Grimes, obi and RJ to nut up and take the fight to the heat.

Yup; our guys are too nice

No, they are just not the Heat!

Do we have a thread creation quota?
Deuce is our enforcer. Now that he’s back in the rotation, maybe lowery doesn’t kill us off the bench this game. He should be able to guard him better than what we’ve done all series. We need shooting of course, but we could use an enforcer like deuce.
How about instead of enforcers we get guys who come off the bench and make a 3?
We need guys who can hit open shots.

They don't even need to come off the bench. Anyone
We need to set the tone in this game. Have Randle destroy bam on one of bams picks by just slamming into him at full speed. like what Kobe did to gasol in the Olympics. Who cares if we get a T right off the bat… like I said set the tone and get a few other guys to do it to bam as well.
Let’s get physical and get in their head.
Mitch, JR, RJ and the Harts are enforcers by modern NBA standards. Rather than an enforcer. we need a lights-out talented baller younger than 32 years. We can't replicate the Ewing plus the "low on talent, high on tough" retinue formula because this brand of physical basketball can no longer be played in today's NBA. And because we have no Ewing.
