I'd do that deal Also, there's a good chance the Hornets pick Brandon Miller. How much more available does that make Bridges?

In a heartbeat - if he works hard this kid has a very high ceiling and possesses outstanding athletical ability... but he needs to find a reliable jumpshot and defensive consistency. Could be a top 20 player if developed correctly. I'd throw in Obi if you have to and let them keep the 2nd rounder. (Live out in Bay area and watch him play a lot)

Alpha1971 @ 5/17/2023 2:26 PM
Evan makes more then Kuminga ? Would it pass the trade machine test ? Kuminga would be another Cam Reddish shot in the gamble. Try to trade for Tari Eason

I don’t think James Dolan and Knicks management wants to deal with miles bridges backlash from the media. Could imagine Knicks picking miles bridges how much protest before games and after games from women beater. ESPN thought Knicks fan were crazy for tearing up Julius randle poster at msg you bring miles bridges here nyc they will talk about this everyday, call organization classless stupid and James Dolan idiot. Miles bridges probably should probably to piston, rockets or thunder to repair his image. If nets talk a change on miles bridges there will be a lot of protest in that arena and lots of people don’t like joe tsai.

It's not like people are in love with Dolan to begin with. MSG would still sell out every time.

True. If the guy has his shit together he’ll be fine. He pulls anymore dumb moves it won’t be good for anyone.
Odds are he stays in Charlotte at least for a while.

What are you hearing about PJ Washington? As a starter, he's mid. As a reserve, he's be topnotch.

Also, in the event Charlotte does pick Scoot, what does that do to Rozier's availability. Would he become an option?
chislic @ 5/18/2023 10:41 AM
Obi for Kuminga works.

Put up some career numbers on a bad team riddled with injuries. Makes 23-24mil for next two years and seems biologically older for his age.
I'd say best suited off the bench microwave player were IQ gets his current minutes. Its a big salary for a back up, but perhaps in place of IQ and if attached to another asset? We'd need to be compensated to take that money on.

Bet he would have put points up against Heat but yes big $ for smaller combo.

If you thought Cam Reddish and Anthony Randolph were going to be great NBA players, You’re going to love Kuminga

Hard pass

Maybe some truth to what you say —- intriguing talent/athlete but yes unproven.

To be fair, Kuminga has already had two seasons that are arguably better than anything Reddish has produced. He is unproven, but he has been coached up and doesn't seem to unrealistic expectations about his role.

Wait, I thought 90% of knick fans agree that the knicks are in need of athletic wings. He's young, 6'7 athlete, runs like a deer and jumps out the gym. Coached by Steve Kerr, who used to be praised like coach spo as one of the best. So he has 2 years of nba experience coached by one of the greatest (so they say). Instead of this being a hard pass, I believe it's a long line. Several NBA teams will be lineup ready for his services. The question is does the knicks have anything GS want, since the rumor is Kuminga is available via trade.

Career 35% from 3. 37% last season. But he didn't even attempt a 3 per game.

Fuckers! Seriously I don't know much about Kuminga, but I'm tired of saying we need the same type of wing year after year. Young. tall, runs, jumps. I would much rather can hit the 3, plays at least average defense, doesn't turn the ball over, intelligent player.
