I think I listened to the same podcast and Randle was on the list…I think he had him twenty something.
In any case…I enjoy listening to B. Simmons but he comes off has bias towards the Knicks, at times, and his opinion changes every week.
It’s on The Ringer. Randle didn’t make the list which is insane. Probably the only allstar/ all nba player not on it and he’s cheap compared to others. Brunson was 21 though and Barrett was around 60.

Without slamming him, its questionable. He is missing the BB IQ. I love his athleticism and scoring. But he plays heads-down basketball and seems to be thinking about how he is going to score versus how the team is going to score. He's generally a second too late on things like passes. Maybe its a faith in his teammates issue. I don't know. But I see a guy that could be a 20/10/10 guy if he read the floor better and made the correct pass.

That's not as bad considering Wagner's age and contract. My biggest problem with the list is listing Siakam while omitting Randle. Sure, you can make the case that Siakam is a little better. But it's debatable. But add in things like contract and there's no way you can tell me that one has that much more trade value than the other.

I definitely misheard it….But I agree with you nonetheless.
I will say I appreciate Julius Randle more after this past season as he did come back better than last season. He does seem to be a good guy! I do question the fit and offensive style that Thibs has run around him and Brunson. I also question how we plan to upgrade for higher talent without including Randle in a future trade... as it seems either gut the young guys/bench and picks or trade Randle.
He does work hard and that earns him respect.
If he can keep maturing, play faster and hold the ball less - I'll appreciate him even more.

Its been mentioned in numerous outlets Knicks were testing waters on a Beal trade and also checking in on Paul George and at the end of the day I expect us to run it back because Leon and Co doesnt want to give up RJ/IQ/Obi and 4 FRPs for a PaulG or Zach because those guys arent worth it. That's the trade you make (+Mitch) for Embiid and try to win a title with Brunson/Grimes/Hart/Jules/Embiid and McBride and IHart off the bench

Jules distractions last year with newborn in house might have been due to some extra marital exercise?
I have no basis for any of this. Just saying a guy with young kids with a unlimited supply of groupies just waiting at every turn is not easy for a young marriage.

Embiid would be nice. We can all dream. Would probably still need to add some shooting. Won't mind running it back if we add a couple of shooters. Still feel all the rumors are not just smoke. Rose wants a star. Question will be who we give up. Like IQ and RJ and feel if they improve their Bball IQ and passing, we can be so much better. Although been saying that for a few years.
Will be interesting summer. But you may be right, many have been expecting this FO to make a big move yet they have consistently gone with smaller smarter moves.
