I mean I could have just gone with indigestion, but where's the fun in that!?!
I love Obi. I think he can do more. We've seen him get minutes and produce.
But I don't understand how he can be invisible in his minutes. Get 8, do nothing. Swap Randle and Obi, starting Obi, Randle would impact his minutes if limited.
I don't understand it.
I personally would like to see Obi and Randle out there together. They got a few minutes and looked effective. Sure, not every team you can do that- but go big with Obi at the SF.
That is what I would ask him, to work on his handle, his 3pt shot.
But we have so many ok/good players, and so few clearly better than anyone else players.

It's got to hurt a young guy trying to establish himself in the league. It took Obi 3 years to speak out but I'm glad he did. For all the good things Thibs does as a coach, freezing out players for no apparent good reason is a bad look. I would like to see Toppin come into this season with some handle and strength. Put the ball on the floor big fella'. whatcha' got to lose? Thibs is going to pull you after 10 minutes anyway, it's not like he's going to play Randle 48...wait, never mind
he's not getting frozen out for no reason, there was a third team All NBA in front of him, who is in the top 20 for MPG. It's just the reality of the situation, it's not a personal vendetta
This. Thibs has given Obi chances to play when Julius was injured last season and he did well for the most part. Regarding Op’s point I kinda have to agree with Thibs Obi’s game is not ball handling and distribution he’s like an Amare he’s a finisher/dunker on offense
