Interestingly Donte was picked highest of the three.
Logic dictates more moves. These guys plus RJ, Grimes, IQ, even Deuce. Lotta guards not enough minutes. Meanwhile we could use more size at the 3 and a backup 4. Or….?
Agree 100%. Not even sure i like the guy but certainly suggests a move for someone like OG who can play 3 and backup at 4. We/re not done
With the money going around he’s great value. He’s a 3&D guy who can also handle the ball and make plays. One of the best value signings of free agency.

Wonder if the league says we tampered
More moves have to follow. Run the risk of trading Grimes for 2 2nd round picks next offseason. IQ is looking for a big extension. His mins aren't going to be able to equal the contract barring injury. And we have massive holes in the frontcourt from spacing to depth.

This time around there’s zero basis for that. He was a day 2 decision too.

That's why we stocked up second round picks
This trade boils down to Obi for DDV and two 2nd round picks. Good move.
I Like Obi and he’ll be fine there. Might even put up some good numbers and we’ll argue this for year.
In the end Randle turned it up and Obi did not fulfill the hope.
Glad for him if he gets a good opportunity.
I suspect one of Grimes/IQ gets traded.

Indeed agree.

Great, and smart smart move. Which rookie, if any, will get signed to a multi year? Jacob toppin?
I will say, thinking about it. This Donte signing def opens up tons of flexibility in terms of moves Rose can make with the roster.

Chess not checkers.
Great addition. Will make the chemistry with Hart and Brunson all that much stronger. This guy contributes on different aspects of the game. We need more guys like this. Thank he will have a breakout year. Given the opportunity.

I see Jericho Sims backing up the 4 spot
Trust, but no 3 point shot
Let's hope Jericho been working on his shooting and comes back with a lethal 3 pt shot both a pull up and corner 3.
I would be stunned, not sure he has the handles or potential for that
He’s legit. It’s like we got another Hart that has great atheleticism, a solid 3 and really good handles.

Really interesting.
ESPN's Kevin Pelton had this to say:
" I still consider DiVincenzo's contract one of this summer's best values. His multiyear wins above replacement projection in my model ranked fifth among all free agents, putting DiVincenzo ahead of the likes of Jerami Grant, Cam Johnson and Kyle Kuzma, who all got more than twice as much money on four-year deals."
I think his athleticism gets overlooked. He’s got real bounce. Also really dangerous on the pick n roll/pick n pop. Has a bit of deception in his dribble. Really like this signing.
Now, I’m looking for the PF to complete the second unit.
I just compared Donte's season with Max Strus. Either Donte is underpaid or Max's agent is a genius.
