am I wrong to think we'd want to send Randle out if we were to acquire Embiid? I think they're games are so similar.

In the face of this salary inflation Randles contract for his production is a great bargain. He is not all we want him to be, but he’ll make just 25mm next year!!! Two more years before his player option kicks in at just under 30mil.
He is great trade piece. Its NY, its knicks and we starphuch this.

This
At this point, with this contract, all Randle trade conversations should cease.
Knicks own the two best contracts in the NBA in Randle and Brunson

But wait, I thought people said Randle's was the worse contract in the NBA. PhilC, was it?

You are wrong. We just traded our backup power forward. Sabonis just got 40m per year. Dylan Brooks got 20 million a year. Been saying Randle is a good deal for a while. 25/10 for his deal is a bargain.

One of the best for all nba
Its projected that an Embid trade will likely happen next year if the 76ers dont meet expectations. But what if after they trade Harden, Embid is not happy and demand for a trade? With the way the knicks are currently constructed, would they be able to assemble a package the 76er cant resist while still leaving the knicks enough to compete and contend at the same time will still have enough assets to make one final move and make them real contenders.

How many 1 final moves will we make? Embiid not enough?

If the knicks trade for Embid expect it to cost alot, similar to the Carmelo package, look at the 76er, they have embid, harden, harris, maxey have they won a championship? I think it's reasonable to say the knicks will still need atleast 1 final move after Embid either to replace the lost pieces to strengthen the starting lineup or fortify the bench.
