Yeah he’s Villanova and CAA so why not ? He was on a 2-way contract with Minnesota last year. Not sure what happened to him and why he’s not in the league.

Hope so. Knicks used to get players that came out of nowhere to be really good. Like Johnny Newman, Anthony Mason, John Starks. It's due for a new guy to surprise

Sometimes opportunity is more important than draft ranking. There is so much talent coming up. Hard to get an opportunity unless you have draft rank though. Even then... (See Toppin, Obi).

Your right. Taking BPA does not always do the player a favor.
Trier was given a golden opportunity.
Knox did also.
But many times teams draft talent and they just don't get the window.
Frank got caught with multiple coaches and when he had a good window with Thibs, he got hurt. Time and space matters!

I think he's more trouble then he's worth at this stage with his injuries and surly attitude though the years... we have enough surly with Randle already
What happened to Kai Sotto ?

Who?
The Filipino Kareem...
appears he is with Orlando summer league.
Key to the Knicks next season is RJ and Hart hitting their 3 pt shots with higher effectiveness. If they both do better from 3 the team will be more fluid, dynamic and dangerous. If RJ does this, he and Julius will be staggered more often. RJ needs to put it all together this season.
Jeeezus. We're definitely not going to find the answer inhouse. Maybe if we played in 6'5" and under league.

No worries. Green to the rescue. In this clip he only played limited mins and look at his impact. Green is the perfect backup PF to Randle. Somebody who’s used to limited mins and he’s still an impact player / vet.

Yeah, read an article on this guy. He's under contract with Golden State, right? Doubt they want to lose a cheap productive player,

JaMychal Green signed a one-year deal with the Warriors last summer and is currently an unrestricted free agent.

When the Knicks drafted Knox and Frank those two were not the BPA or best talent. The GMs were smoking crack

I think this right - at least RJ for me has to step up and perform like he did in the play off games that he did well in- I think the first two Cleveland games were stinkers for him.
If I were the FO, I would at the start of training camp ask RJ to shot 10 open 3s and if he can't know 6 or 7 down, trade him.
Harsh? Maybe, but what is RJ doing in the summer right now?
